I'm new on this forum. I have a question about "Hard Candy". When it will be certified Platinum in the US (it has sold over 700.000 copies)??
And why didn't she promoted the album as she did with Confessions 3 years earlier (lots of TV and media appearances)?

Probably 2 reasons, 1st its a divorce album and too many questions would be asked before they oficially split. 2nd Its was crap.

Its good, esp the 2nd half but not great IMO. I think it was written for the superbowl and will end up being tagged onto the end of the album.

I read that too. So it will all be done by xmas? Its gone so fast!! I guess next month till Jan there will be movie promotion around the world, an album cover shoot, rehersals, a video being made and tickets going on sale. I dont know how she sleeps!

At least do that if you are going to make accusations so we can assess the credibility of this person. Aren't you a big Boy George fan? He's the nastiest person on the planet, but that doesn't stop you from buying his music. But I guess that's why you feel the need to post this since George is consumed with his jealousy of Madonna. This songwriter wouldn't be Boy George, would it? I remember him telling a very similiar story. I hardly think saying "Oh" is the worst thing anyone ever said. Maybe she was just feeling shy meeting a stranger or in a bad mood about something else. You seriously need to get a life instead of spreading nasty gossip.

When youve been a fan for over 20 years a few crumbs might be nice, the dial is turning from annoying to ignorance. YES! She performed amazingly. Karbatal, there is really something quite odd about you.
You call Into the groove lacking in energy but I bet you couldn't even skip with a rope. Maybe if Madonna does Human Nature on her next tour and has an S + M Sex Dwarf role you could get up on the stage and show her how to exude some energy. The fact that you hadn't seen this tour just goes to show your closed mindedness. If you had bothered to invest some ENERGY into listening to the record you might have realised sooner how great it was! Instead you were regurtitating that boring 'OMGZLOLZ WHY IS MADONNA WORKING WITH A POPULAR PRODUCER?!' argument that is SO Fucking boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, it takes the term BROKEN record to a whole new level!!! I guess a lot of Madonna fans get caught up in the publicised Madonna aspect instead of the actual work. CAN'T LIKE AMERICAN LIFE IT'S TOO SERIOUS, CAN'T LIKE HARD CANDY IT'S TOO FUN. BRING BACK WILLIAM AN UNKNOWN PRODUCER LIKE WILLIAM ORBIT. Ugh. The Show is amazing. The DVD is amazing. Love listening to it before I go out. Especially Spanish Lesson and La Isla bonita. What people may realise about this tour is just how INVOLVED her dancers are. As she phased out the Nikki, Donna, Madonna trio she brought in a more group focused mentality. You see the dancers abilities more and there's a stronger sense of group mentality. I personally love it. The show I saw in France was amazing too.Oi! Leave Karbatal alone. We are allowed our own opininons withought being picked on mrs!!

I hate to do a 'whats the point' post but there are no words. I was but wasnt the loneliest child in the wooorld - but because of that woman I had a reason. Everything I could type would make it look cheap. No point. I have a diary from when I was 10 saying 'im so sad, i dont want to be sad.' then says 'watched virgin tour 5 times' happy face??. I was only a kid! The words speak for themselves. Jesus the amount of times i turned up the sound on that vhs tape to drown out the shouting and learn the dress u up dance routine. I think it turned us all gay! It did me...and saved me.
