  1. Way to go madonna! ... Way to fucking go!

I fucking got goosebumps reading that statement ( because it goes way beyond the topic of homoparental families, or the technological question of IVF.... She in facf gave it the spiritual dimension that the question of assisted Procreation should always be tagged with!

It does not matter if a human baby is put into this world with technological assistance; if it is created, it must have been God's will... And to think that "Man does anything on is own" is indeed arrogant!

Fuck yeah! ( my first "fuck yeah"! :-)

  2. Madonna s statement is one of the most intelligent statement she has made....

Any person who thinks that Man is doing anything on his own is just full of themselves i.e. Full of shit...

Wow... It is fucking crazy how much her statements in the late interviews (since the VICE interview) are sooooo in phase with my vision of the current world and my thoughts on several subjects.... It is crazy how after 2 decades i am now feeling a connection with what she has to say more than anytime before!

Well i guess she will still have my attention for a while!!!

  3. The entire Rebel Heart song is distorted like Voices in HC.

Messiah is mostly fine but the second chorus has a terrible blow out sound.

As much as I love the record its sloppy mixing/mastering is definitely on par with MDNA

Living For Love: over-mixed vocals in the verses

Ghosttown: the paper burning/mic switching on sounds (no it's NOT intentional)

    Bitch I'm Madonna: volume fluctuation

Hold Tight: drowned out vocals and the entire song is too quiet

    Iconic: over-mixed vocals

    HBC: obvious clipping

    Body Shop: muffled vocals

Holy Water: Vogue instrumentals in the background WTF

Wash All Over Me: over-mixed vocals and the entire song is too quiet

    Messiah: blow out sound

    Rebel Heart: distorted drums

I'm no sound-freak but half of the album has major mixing issues :dazed:

But her albums since American Life have always been poorly mixed/mastered so I'm used to it :popcorn2:

One would think this type of stuff would never happen to a perfectionist like madonna.... I am extremely turned off by the sound problem on messiah (the volume suddenly increases at one point) which makes me listen to the demo version instead (i have to have a perfect sound on this one because it is in my top 3 songs on this album!)

Has she even listened to the official version of her album? Has anyone around her listened to it? I am sure that if she knew she would be horrified and maybe call for a recall! Just like mdna bluray!

  4. I agree that prices are ridiculously high this time around in the usa... I think it is not her decision but live nation and her manager (greedy greedy greedy) and i think no fan should be afraid to express their opinion... I agree that it is ridiculous that one would have to make disclaimers in order to express their opinion.... It is blatant that people on here are fans and support madonna; they should not be afraid to express an opinion.

I agree that she should do more shows to get her music out there to the maximun people; touring in fall winter makes it impoaaible to do stadiums but hey that s their choice to go on tour so late... Fans should not pay the price! By now second dates would have been added if it was not for the prices!

  5. I m starting to like miley cyrus... Not necessarily because she is supporting madonna

But she does seem genuinely cool, humble too

I dont like her music much ( the only song i have is wrecking ball) but she does have a cool vibe about her that is reminiscent of early days madonna...

  6. This has to be one of the best interviews of her entire career...

I never really cared for howard stern; I did not know him much.. But I have to say that he carried out this interview like a pro!!

When I think of all the interviews in the past decade (the 2000s) that where so boring because the hosts did not have any interesting questions; i feel like it was such a waste...

And here, i even feel like i learnt things i did not know... Basquiat asking for his paintings back etc it was just so interesting that i for a moment just did not do anything besides listening to the interview... I focused on it (which is rare with me as I always say multitask)

The flow of the questions etc, everything was just so interesting

Really a nice surprise! An interview i will like to listen to again in the future...

  7. RH actually seems to fit well into that whole sound.

I agree with this. I think it is because as she pointed it out during recent interviews this time she approached the song writing process like she used to do in the 80s: that is melody comes first and the production bling bling second... She said that she wanted to write songs that she could sing with just a guitar...

And that s what made her 80s stuff classic stuff that stood the stand of time: thoses songs had great melodies and hooks and it only helped that the production was also off the hook for that time...

  8. If you trim it from holy water and autotune baby which i am not fond of ( and best night too), and if you add instead two steps behind, nothing last forever and never let you go then we have 25 songs of pure pop at its best!

That is worth two albums with NO fillers.

I rearranged the tracks with one album of rebel songs and one of heart songs and i honestly think this is her best album since like a prayer; i am not exagerating... The wait (one whole year of working on the album) was worth it... I think she heard the criticism about mdna (that it was a rushed album) and just took her time and it paid off.

After 30 years she comes up with one of her best albums of her career (who else can say so?)

    1. The untouchable like a prayer

    2. Rebel heart (my version)

    2. Ray of light

    3. Coad

    Yeah!
