Well, the main reviewer from The Guardian liked it. And the new "review" is sarcastic and negative, but it's not downright sexist like Jezebel, the site that's supposed to be "woke."
-
Figures that Jezebel doesn't like it. I thought they were the feminist site. I don't have a "Kinja" account, but anybody who does please go there and comment.

Song is back in green on iTunes. Damn it! You guys got me addicted to charts again.
-
Damn it! It was rising on US iTunes but is now falling again. But it could rise again when people start hearing it more.
-
The song takes a couple listens to get into. I agree with the person who said that with millennial attention spans, that may not be good. Perhaps she should have released something that's instantly catchy? Oh well, I do love the song and I haven't loved a lead Madonna single in years (although I thought Living for Love was decent but people turned against it once it didn't chart).

I know the media laws are lax in the US, but shouldn't it be unlawful for constant libel? Shouldn't there be some kind of punishment for Friedman and Drudge? They are both the scum of the earth, and the only reason Friedman gets any mileage is because Drudge links to his articles. I believe the email because sure enough, Friedman sabatoged the song in his column one day after, and sure enough, it's on Drudge, but interestingly on the lower left-hand corner where nobody really sees this. Anyhow, there HAS to be SOMETHING we can do about this, if only making people aware.

Come on, where is the Madonna we grew up with? She needs to make it so that when you play her new song, it says " I Love Satan" backwards.
-
She is above Beyonce in US. Both will taper off in the next couple of days, but only M will be called "a flop."
-
Well at least Chuck Arnold is a fan--more of a traditional one, so I can see why he doesn't like the new song.
-
It's hilarious. People on Twitter are pretending to be Jewish people who don't want Madonna to perform in Israel. They have less than 10 followers. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, it goes to show how Tweets aren't always legit and don't inform the real general consensus.

She'll make a "pro-peace" statement. I'm willing to bet on it.
-
They changed the title so it isn't as bad. Surprised NYP would do that. Maybe her new PR team had influence? And the title is up to the editors usually, not the author.
-
Not a bad article. But the title is clickbaiting and sexist.

I love American Life album, but that title single sunk her career. I hope history is not going to repeat it self. She needs to be a bit careful. She also has a family now and the amount hate that she will get is not very much to look forward to.
Yes, that's what I worry about. Remember what happened with Katy Perry for being political? Justin Timberlake? The audience they tried to attract really hit them back in a tough way

Guys, I am calling it. Madonna is going to have her first top ten hit in seven years, and it will likely be due to streaming. She'll be like Gaga and have multiple videos.
-
Well, is there really a gay icon who is universally loved by the LGBT community? Cher, maybe. Gaga is loved, but polarizing. Madonna is polarizing, but I was under the impression that the gays loved her in the 1990s. Even as the rest of the world called her "over with," her music and videos were always played at gay clubs. I haven't been to a gay club in a while, but I wonder if they even play her music or videos anymore.
-
Even if the SJWs go after her, will it matter? They seem to go after everybody (now non-white artists) so they are loud, but don't have much of an effect.

Regardless of the controversy, there will be fake outrage and then it'll cool down. These days people's minds are more sedated than ever and attention span is low. If we want people to wake up, pull the plug on the social media.
Yup, there was fake outrage at Ariana's latest video. It's a given. But in a way, it helped Ariana.

Hello, I am new to this forum. I have been a huge fan since 1986 and am excited for the new album. Sorry to be a negative Nancy in my first post. I just hope it's not political in the same way Katy Perry was. I hope it's substantial and thought provoking in a good way. I am hoping it has something to do with LGBTQIFG rights, especially since she's gonna be at several LGBTQIFG events when it's released.

Here's another one from the "woke" girl. Won't talk about this review anymore. I mean.....how in the HELL does she have a job with Jezebel? Oh, wait....it's Jezebel.
