I am not a fan of the Future song. It's the worst possible song of all she has released so far to play at Eurovision. I can't understand her thought process here. It will do nothing for the album in my opinion. Anyway, It's a Madonna performance and I will get Like A Prayer a la Met gala and that will make up for this nonsense.

I am assuming that is from digital downloads? Tell me she won't chart higher if they are selling physical copies in HMV or the frigging Grocery stores or wherever they still sell CDs these days? I just feel like her larger demo is still the physical copies buying public.

MDNA was considered a flop but sold two million copies. Drake's last album and Beyonce's lemonade both sold 2-2.5m. They are spoken of as huge hits. Rihanna was confirmed double platinum in two days for an album that sold 460 copies for those two days.I repeat. Four hundred and sixty copies! But because Samsung had paid for a million downloads her stans get to claim platinum in two days as a Rihanna record. THIS is the mess we are in. ANTI's first week sales were not vastly different from Rebel Heart which they called a flop.
It's all media selling a narrative. In the last ten years with three albums that people generally call flops, M has moved over 7 million albums in pure sales. She really isn't that far off from some of the people they are calling big hits. But as is always the case with Madonna, the media creates a narrative and runs with it and there is no one on her team to fight back and expose the BS. So people just go on believing she is flopping everywhere.
The charts are shit. Point blank and the periodt. Guy should have done a deal with HTC so they pay for a million downloads.Then the RIAA will give her platinum certifications. Then we can all scream big hit. Then maybe some of you will be happier.

Or she is going because that is her part of the deal confirmed. She was there ready to take the stage. Not her fault if they did not get their own house in order. She pockets her money and leaves. I can see why she may not want to sign the EBU contract. She wants other networks to have rights to HER performance via her, maybe, and she herself to be able to use it without having to pay frigging EBU. I kind of think that is the bone of contention.

Is this the first time Madonna did not release physical copies of a single? Or singles? That's the main thing her fans buy.

1) She looks gorgeous
2) Medellin was a latin infused pop reggaeton track. Rise is a classic Madonna ballad. Crave is a mid tempo Fado infused/R&B/trap/pop. I don't know how anyone can say the three tracks are similar. You may not like them but there is nothing similar about the three. It is the global album she calls it. I am proud.
What would have been typical and generic is the first single being that disco dance banger you all want. That's typical Madonna the last decade. You didn't get that and some can't cope so they act like these three tracks are mediocre. They are not and save for the politics and strange charts, she should be ruling with all three right now.

I prefer IRise to Medellin and Crave. I bought all three. I have been buying to gift all three. I do not stream. I have been streaming. Instead of moaning, buy and stream the one you like if you are too annoyed by others. If you still like none, we have heard you, stop spreading your negativity. Keep quiet. Somewhere in the 15 songs you will find one you like. Rave then. For now, just pre-order the album and shut it instead of clogging the pages with your repetitive explanations of why you like nothing.

Keep streaming Medellin. I Rise and Crave. Medellin is still rising and radio stations have started playing it. I dont know this selective pushing. IRise would have been in the top ten by now had she pushed it.

It is a nightmare her duet with Quavo in the first place. Then to take him to Eurovision. And who on earth is telling her that after four years out the first three songs you fully promote are collabos with random young male musicians that should be kissing the ground you walk on? She should have spent this energy on Irise. Why are you releasing three songs from your first album in four years and they are all collabos with these millennial artists
This just gives the haters grounds for nonsense even though we know M just loves to collab with people she vibes with. What is more annoying is that Madonna on her own is the best Madonna. I am unimpressed but let me stay streaming I rise, Medellin and making more people buy the album and singles on Itunes.

I love that she was candid about her kids. Maybe this is the kick they need. Maybe she is disappointed at how unfocused and not driven they are. Also Lola seems to have hooked up with this pretentious NYC crowd that think being cool is not being on social media and not be seen to do the popular things so to speak. Like being weird is cool. Your mother is Madonna. Use that and get in the damn door and your talent will do the rest. This struggle to not be seen as Madonna's daughter. She doesn't want to be on the woman's IG. Rocco the same. Who are they punishing? Themselves. Enjoy your mother. She is to be celebrated. If her name gets you a movie role, take it. Then show your goods. If it gets you a modeling job, take it, then show out. She's doing too much trying to be independent. As for Rocco, he is his fathers son and that's all that explains him. Glad M has David.

It's May 3rd. She still has three more songs to come. Two songs have been released. If people focused more on publicizing those songs and streaming and buying them maybe we wouldn't need to moan. Also, nobody is looking for dishonesty or alternative facts. Fact is the Album is not out. To assume because so called wrinkly rockers are releasing same day so we are fucked, is to be pessimistic to the extreme. Nearer the time everyone will be wiser as to what the likely outcome is. Right now it's just doom and gloom speculations which are actually not facts. Just opinions.
And I am not policing anyones thoughts. I am simply saying chill on the doom and gloom for something that is still more than a month away.

I feel you. I want that number one Album as much as you and we may still get it. June is still a way off. What I want most is an album that stays in the top three for weeks on end and not number one, in the first week and then can not be found. So, it's complicated and I am just saying lets worry about it when we are nearer the bridge. For now I am trying to get Radio2 to play IRise and trying to get the youtube views up. Those views must be stuck because how it is not over a million is beyond me. Also I am one of the few who still has hope for Medellin but I don't know when next it will be promoted.

Order the album. The singles. stream it. Gift it. Spend the energy there and very little energy coming to Madonna nation to moan how everything is fucked.

I Rise is a much better song than Medellin. As far as quality of music and lyrics. I believe it would have been a more successful and impactful lead single especially with the gun issue. But we all already agree we haven't had the best lead singles in forever so...This is no slant on Medellin which is a perfectly decent track and should be top ten if not for the various restrictive factors. Still, I Rise in my eyes is by far the superior song no question.
