To have a president do this literally in the midst of counting the votes in an election is just unreal. If he gets in again.....which definitely doesn't look unlikely......we are truly and completely fucked.
If they stopped counting votes now Trump wins he leads in Wisconsin, michigan, PA and Georgia.

So the polls are pretty clear that Biden will win. The only surprise would be how each party has used that polling data in the past few weeks - Trump tactically focuses on small demographics in a very local areas, which can be just enough to turn the margins in just the right places if Biden doesnt focus on the right areas. It will all come down to 3 states. The real risk is that all Biden people voted early, and these votes wont necessarily be all counted next Tuesday, so I expect Trump to use every tactic to try to claim victory or at least say the results are wrong.
Yes definitely also everyone is voting early this year due to the pandemic. It’s safer.

The point is that presidents can just be envoys. They don't do it all. I don't think Biden was ever particularly brilliant, nor ever much more than serviceable, but neither were plenty of others in that political lineage. But it doesn't always matter how brilliant you are anyway; you have to pander to constituents who wouldn't know greatness if it threw Hard Candy CDs in their faces. Biden doesn't rouse a thing in me, but what's important is that he's willing to work alongside the right people, including the seemingly promising Kamala Harris, for (more of) the right things. He could be sworn in and fuck off to bed for the next four years and the United States would still be in much better hands than it is with disgraceful Trump.

I have Rogers Cup season tickets so i go all week here and also i’ve been to Wimbledon and The US Open quite often. It’s fairly easy to meet the players. They walk around between matches, practises and media days. Most players r quite nice.
