Sometimes songs are over produced. Not saying any of these are as i love all 4 especially Medellin and Crave but the theory of a simple track like this isn’t quality is not fair as many great songs have simple production and a hit( or a song like this i keep on repeat) is much harder to produce than an over produced album filler in my opinion.
It’s obviously intentional to be “basic”and a dance floor filler i guess we are craving to dance!

This is a latin hit for sure! When Madonna was saying she felt inspired in portugal this is kinda of the route i thought some of the songs might take in terms of beats and flavor. Love love love it!

Funnily enough, every one I know, who are not M fans, who have heard the song have loved it. It seems to get a great response. My own mother is like "I know you pre-ordered yours, but I'm getting my OWN cd when it comes out!".
As even just a casual fan, the Billboard performance blew her away.
