I know. I think it's a great thing. Look at Kanye West for example. All the controversy made him cool to the rebel young masses and his songs are doing great on streaming.

Rachel Brosnahan with musical guest musical guests Greta Van Fleet will host the next SNL on January 19th. So the earliest it can happen is January 26.
"The first Saturday Night Live episode of 2019 is going to be one to remember. As announced via the NBC sketch-comedy institution’s Twitter account Monday afternoon, its Jan. 19 episode will feature appearances from musical guests Greta Van Fleet and host Rachel Brosnahan, both of whom will be making their SNL debuts."

? What is your point with this negative statement? Do you have any thoughts on the promo campaign she should have or just putting M down for the sake of it? :) I am sure you don't mean it intentionally. I think Madonna can still get on most show if she wants to and collaborate with whomever she wants. She will do live fun appearances and have plenty of collaborations that most on this forum will hate :) (I love her collaborations!). Hope she picks the best options from the bunch for 2019. :)

Can you please share your rumor source. Doing SNL to kick of the campaign would be great for the America market and would have a cool effect, since is the topic around work water coolers the Monday after... and has a big YouTube following weeks after. It's a way to go for big acts to start promo campaigns here in US for years. Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Cardi B (she introduced her baby bump on the show) started their campaign on SNL for their last big project. Would not be surprised... U2 did it last year, so Guy has connections, and she was a regular for years. And she can address the controversy... and SNL loves topical acts.

Lauren has been liking most Madonna posts for the last couple of days. I would not be surprised if there is still touchups being done on some tracks. Remember the horse ride on Jan 1st had music by Post Malone and it was liked by Edgar Barrera (Maluma's music producer).
But, it does not mean that the first single is not already identified and she is not working on the video and that the promo campaign is not in broad strokes worked out.

Great idea! We haven't covered this topic in some time! Here is what I think:
- I think M's first single must drop with the video at the same time to surprise us all... with a big streaming push on all platforms. She needs to keep all the focus on that one song/video (and maybe a second), but don't release anything else from the album for a couple of months.
- She needs to do Live streaming's on Instagram. While shooting videos, chatting with her kids, prepping for live appearances on talk shows, whatever... she needs to be live as much as she can stand, creating buzz!! and saying controversial things. If the musing is great, controversy only helps. Look at Kanye West and at M's previous famous promo campaigns over the decades.

Stephen Colbert is a second great late-night talk shows option in New York

SNL makes sense only when she has two songs out (two songs must be performed live between comedy sketches), but M needs to do it prior to the summer hiatus that starts in late April. It is a big deal here in US to do SNL.

Ellen DeGeneres day time show is a must - live performance and fun chat... for the stay home moms (LA show).

James Corden and Jimmy Kimmel are two other great late-night talk shows in Los Angeles that are great options (both famous for great live performances!). She will be after all hosting her own Oscar after party on Feb 24th, so it can take place around that time.

- She needs to do radio interviews in the big four markets - LA, NY, etc. These days are video taped and are released on YouTube (no longer can she do them from her bad on the phone). She is the only one that can get herself back on the radio if she wants it bad enough.
- In terms of awards, I think M needs to be at the Grammy Awards and Brit Awards.
- She MUST do Coachella Festival both her buddy Diplo and Ariana G are performing. She can be part of both or one of their sets. :)

I would never understand why she doesn’t make a feature with the ones that want it like ASAP Rocky.
I am happy with collaborators as long as they are brining their best game to the song like Nicki always did. Nicki's lyric additions enhanced the songs and made them badass. Not a fan of her musing overall, but I can say, I like what she did in their collaborations.
We all heard the original demo songs without Nas and Chance as collaborators; their lyrics additions were just ego trips with no additional value to the song. Actually both songs got unfocused in meaning and intent with their contribution. Hope this time around, collaborators really elevate the quality of the song (lyric and music wise).

I keep think of the #Magic she has been using for more than a 1/2 year now and the "think outside the box" concept introduce a week or so ago. David Blaine the American magician is a friend of Madonna. I wonder if he will be involved somehow?

OMG! Madonna just posted a video of her riding a horse... the music she is playing in the background is Post Malone - Better Now. Remember she is following him on Instagram for months. I think there is a collaboration in the works. I am ready!!!

Her voice was just perfect!!! She was so relaxed and in control of her voice. If she feels more comfortable with small settings like this, I really hope she sings live again on an entertainment night show like Jimmy Fallon or Stephen Colbert in New York or James Corden in LA.

What her team has been doing in the last two weeks on Instagram is great! hope they keep doing what they are doing. The two vintage videos posted overnight (Find The Middle Ground and Then Go Out There and Crush it!
#2019) were a genial choice 
. Both went viral if you have not noticed with great response. Anderson Coooper, Kelly Ripa, Jona Hill got in on the act (hope more girls in her gang start commenting on her posts - Arian, Cardi, etc.)! The team just needs to keep on building on this great start over the next couple of days/weeks until the first single teasers get released. I bet she has lots of more behind the scenes similar videos that can be released to kip building excitement. We can all feel that the new era is coming! 
Now, let's hope M feels comfortable doing one or two live 5/10 minutes streams on Instagram (maybe choreography preparations for live performances :)). If Cardy can do one a day, she can do one a week for a couple of months.
Also, I think in hind·sight, we will look at the last week butt drama as a great publicity moment to build the new era on.
