Yeah. I think she should do it all close together though.
Like release the song and lyric video on tuesday, and then the next day the whole video.
People have short attention spans, it should be a media overdose.

If record execs hadn't listened to ROL, we wouldn't have gotten Frozen as the first single, and it would probably have been a disaster.
Also, Give it 2 Me would have been the first single from Hard Candy, and it would have been a disaster too. Just saying..

It's not worth it.
At 60, it wouldn't take just money, the song would have to be absolutely perfect.
And, a big team would have to be involved. It would take A LOT of energy and cash.

Yeah, that's why they don't play her.
Radio is mostly after the teenagers/younger adults' advertising dollars. They have no desire to cater to older listeners.

I'm LIVING for this new hair!!! I hope it is the new look for the album.
Call me crazy, but it doesn't look like a wig to me.. but then, I know nothing of wigs.
It looks a little small for a wig. She looks incredible though.

I want that too. But you'll quickly realize, it's gonna be an uphill battle because of Madonna's age. It sucks. But it's the reality of the world we live in.
I'd be grateful with a wonderful record that has great quality. If we get a hit from it, awesome. But I'm not taking it for granted.

Me too. But today's music doesn't warrant a lot of money for videos anymore. And Fincher is quite expensive, and he does expensive things.
Maybe Madonna should take some money out of her own pocket (yeah right) for a Fincher video, like she did for Express Yourself. It would really stand out, especially now..

I just want quality music and quality videos.
I hate to sound ageist, but this is the reality of the world we're living in. It's very TOUGH for somebody of Madonna's age to crack the industry with a lot of popularity.
It would take a lot of energy and a lot of compromise to make it happen, and I'm not sure it would be worth it. I really would like a great record that is well accepted by the opinion makers, rather than selling herself out to the nth degree trying to get a hit. I'd much rather just get quality music. But I can only speak for myself, and that's just me..I just hope for the best situation..

Beautiful Stranger and American Pie were produced specifically for the radio market, and this helped Music tremendously.

In fact it wasn't just ROL. Beautiful Stranger and American Pie served as a build up for Music..
It would not have been the hit it was if the timing wasn't exactly right.
That's my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own..
