Tbh at this point I don't care much anymore either. We complained a lot about the rushed affair of MDNA (and it really does show on the album) and the messy ending of the RH recordings (again, very audible in some songs), so we should be glad in a way she's taking her time with the production. And I don't see how the summer release is being threatened by any of this. I choose to believe MTribe's info, they wouldn't be so specific with their news if it didn't come from very close sources.
Yeah, but plans change.
I think it's gonna come out at the end of the year, like Confessions. A lot of things have to come together, I suspect she wants to release the album together with this film project, and she usually takes her time editing. It's still gonna take a while imo. But we'll see..

Yeah..there is freedom, but it's relative. Certain things are definitely off limits, and usually that has to do important political situations. And this goes way back.
Jane Fonda, Charlie Chaplin, Whoopi Goldberg, and many others have suffered tremendously for things they have said.

Yeah, me too. But look at what they did to Kathy Griffin. It could have been dangeous to Madonna's family, not to mention herself.
She made the only sensible decision she could have made at that point.

Madonna pulled the video, so Warner was ready to have her pay for it. Maybe they were gonna sue her, I'm not sure. So they came up with that awful flag video to fill the space, and not have to make her pay it. Total was about one million dollars IIRC.

In my country, Brazil, Batuka is a form of African magic.
We call it Batuka, which is an instrument, but here everybody knows it for this kind of magic. It's like witchcraft.
