Actually I think the work with Britney damaged her image/legacy rather than be of any help. MATM was far from any success everywhere. The VMA with Britney was drawing attention to Madonna, but not to her music.

It showed her in unflattering light and as "uncool" and trying to attach herself to a young hip trashy girl (beyond her level). I think Madonna and Stuart Price introduced Madonna to a new generation via COADF. Even with 0 radio support in USA, COADF was a huge undeniable success, even in dear old USA. It was that good. It was glorious time to be a fan in Europe. Felt like a second Ray Of Light, almost. And it had 0 to do with Britney. It was all tnx to Madonna, Stuart and arguably, ABBA :).

I think the VMA show with Britney was definitely a high moment for M at that point, it was a HUGE deal.... but MATM did nothing for her... not a major hit, not a good song, not an improvement (not even for Britney, especially with Toxic happening next), a total useless nothing.

She missed a lot of opportunities for hits with collabs over the years. That is why I don't get her being called a vampire or other shit. She could have and maybe should have been feat on so many collabs over the years to get and maintain chart dominance. She didn't. We know she does what she wants.

I disagree completely, I think the problem is that she's collaborating with the hottest trend of the moment thinking she might gain something from it, and in the end nothing happens because all these people are basically one hit wonders... She rarely collaborated with quality artists, usually it's some trendy new artist at their commercial peak. The list is seemingly endless.

I'm pleased that they are alive but the question begs what on earth were they doing down there in the first place?

apparently they went in to write their names in the cave as some sort of a maturity initiation ritual (   )and as the cave started getting flooded they went deeper and deeper to find shelter

  4. just read an article explaining that they might stay in the cave for up to 4 months, due to parts of the cave being flooded, so now teams are finding a way to bring them supplies for the next few months. Apparently the only way out is a 6 hour dive through mud, and it's difficult even for skilled professionals, so now teams are deciding what to do. Parts of the cave that can be drilled from the surface are not connected to the chamber where the kids are, and diving is impossible for them at the moment because the kids are not trained for that, so for the time being it seems like they will be stuck there.

Unbelievable story, surely a movie will be made some day.

have you guys read the last page? I think this is more about the fear of a possible leak IF what that guy is saying is true (that some fans and collectors have the song)

it's just speculation... whenever something is half-announced, rumors, track lists, set lists, cover photos etc start leaking, and it's almost always lies

  6. online articles don't affect anything... even if somebody believes them, they will forget all about it in a few days, and by the time the album comes out, they will hear the music and form their own opinion, be it positive or negative... the only people who care are crazy haters and obsessed fans, and they are an overwhelming minority anyway.
