I don't live in Brazil. I travel because of work, holidays and one of my best friend has lived in Sao Paulo for a few years and I visit him there frecuently. Sao Paulo is a very pro Bolsonaro city so the opinions I hear from people living there (even the gays) tend to favour Bolsonaro.

Oh so you haven't been here on those years and your judgement was based on the vision of others?
Actually Bolsonaro lost here in São Paulo  and the gays who support him is a big minority. I may think your friend and the people you've heard from are privileged white cis men? If so, it's easy to understand why they say horrors of a government that gave dignity and favored minorities and lower classes.

He is one of the most corrupt presidents ever with politics full of "double standards". And I personally don't support populist goverments like Maduro in Venezuela and Lula in Brazil.

But yeah, Bolsonaro was terrible (even more so than Lula). Sad a third alternative didn't even stand a chance.

How was it to live in Brazil on Lula days between 2003-2010 compared to 2018-2022?

Just saw the interview..she doesn't seem to think of a video. The journalist asked how much she would need for it and she said 300 thousand USD would be fine. Let's start a crowdfunding 🤣🤣. Anitta also recorded a video message for her.

But let's not forget that this interview was taped BEFORE the album release and she didn't have seen the big impact this song had. Maybe they are already changing plans and working on it as we speak. Who knows...

I tried to transcribe the lyrics (Anyone with knowledge of the portuguese language, feel free to add or correct because I did this fully on hearing and not speaking any portuguese!)

    Killers Who Are Partying

I will be gay, if the gay are burned
I'll be Africa, if Africa is shut down
I will be poor, if the poor are humiliated
And I'll be a child, if the children are exploited

    I know what I am
And I know what I'm not

O mundo, e savage (the world is wild)
O caminho é solitário, (the road is lonely)
    e, e, e, e
    O mundo, e savage
    O caminho é solitário,
    e, e, e, e

    e, e, e, e,

    e, e, e, e

    e, e, e, e

I'll be Islam, if Islam is hated
I'll be Israel, if they're incarcerated
I'll be native Indian, If the Indian has been taken
And I'll be a woman, if she's raped and her heart is breaking

I know what I am (God knows what I'm not)
And I know what I'm not (And he knows what I'm not)
Do you know who you are (hmmmm)
Will we know when to stop?

    O mundo, e savage
    O caminho é solitário,
    e, e, e, e
    O mundo, e savage
    O caminho é solitário,
    e, e, e, e

    Yo se ....
    Yo se ...

    e, e, e, e

    O mundo,
    Wild is the world
    Wild is the world
    e savage
    Wild is the world
    e, e, e, e

I know what I am (God knows what I'm not)
And I know what I'm not (And he knows what I'm not)
Do you know who you are (hmmmm)
Will we know when to stop?

    .....

    Hey Rob! Great job!

Here are the parts in Portuguese:

    O mundo é selvagem
    O caminho é solitário
    e, e, e, e
    ...
Eu sei o que sou e o que não sou

Just watched a Brazilian youtuber who seems pretty legit say that an insider told him that Medellin sounds nothing like reggaeton - more like Isla Bonita meets Die another day. (????)

Actually he says that the song sounds like a 2019 version of La isla Bonita and it reminds of DAD and AL regarding their 'deconstructed'/different production (A very Mirwais thing). And he also says that in the song (or in the video, it wasn't clear) she will be in Medellín and something's gonna happen there (?)
