I want commercial success. The Shammys mean nothing in the long run. People will remember a hit album for a long time.
That doesn't mean I want it to be critically panned, I just think awards are useless.

What bothers me the most is that people forget this. Even on this new album she's utilizing musicians and artists from the countries that the album is inspired by and they are THRILLED to be a part of it.

Madonna will be criticized no matter what she does. You don't have to defend anything. Just ignore it and enjoy the music. Those people have 0 effect on record sales. All the actual black/latin artists (and countries) love her.

I'm so curious what the album is going to sound like. Fado mixed with disco? Latin influences mixed with Mirwais electronica? It will be a unique sound for sure and like nothing she's done before.
