Ok guys, time to move our lazy asses and start working. We need to like every positive comment on the performance video as much as we're doing it on the music video. I'm already doing it.

I'd like to hear it in the context of the album.
Right now it's solid and good, but I don't feel it as much as other M ballads. However, it may grow on me, and tbh I like it! Such a sweet treat for the weekend.

From what I've read from insiders, the "Wake up" video with the drag queens features a scene of her dancing on the floor. We're assuming that it's a LGBT anthem, but how true could that be?
If 'I Rise' is indeed a ballad, then the theater video is for something else, idk.

I've watched a video from a spanish Pop Music channel on YT, and they said that the album could have more than one cover.
It's not like they're insiders or have the most accurate info, but I'm wondering where did they get that from...

That's another rumour: two different singles for two different markets. Wednesday is the last "working" day of the week for Latinamerica because Thursday and Friday are holidays due to the Holy Week. People will be traveling or going to parties on wednesday night, so it's a perfect release date for a single in this part of the world.
I imagine that the Disco one will be released around Eurovision, tho.

This will be the lead single and after the leaks destroyed any commercial momentum for LFL, now she she has the chance to launch the lead single with a massive event. That was the original intention for LFL on the back on the Grammys and the BRITs Madonna didn't want the song out weeks before.
This is the same. I'm excited as fuck for this but I think it's better and more believable that she rolls out the new single as next month on the eve of the Eurovision when she's got not only her fan audience but 100 million others too.
However, seems like it's coming this wednesday.

Intrigued by the "huge brand" part. Since she has been very active in Spotify, maybe they could get the exclusive release.

Well, I don't have friends but I work in a company that tends to sponsor concerts in my country. I've read somewhere here or in other forum that she has booked Maracana stadium in Brazil and, honestly, I haven't heard that she's coming to Peru. No producer has contacted us for anything related to her and I want to cry. We never gonna have a Madonna concert.

I've read that some "older" acts tend to release days before friday to avoid competition. But I can't remember an example of which ones...

Sadly, it doesn't work the same everywhere.
For example, in my country, news shows will talk about her latest video in the same level as any other big movie/series/etc. But I can't deny the fact that it doesn't happens everywhere. I'm a fan, but I can't be blind.
In the US she would definitely need that the odds are on her favour in order to be talked about by her new music rather than just her persona. A release date with hopefully nothing happening would be an ideal scenario, in my personal opinion.
Andyeah, she makes headlines for music, but let's be real: it all depends on her PR strategy.

No dude, it's not about competence. What we were saying is about the media coverage on it. I work on marketing, and believe me: a huge mainstream launch/announcement is always a nightmare when it comes to making press talk about you/your news/your PN.
They will publish you and give you space, but not like something important because the GP focus will be somewhere else. Same with social media: if something big happens, it makes you get the second spot. Always.
I'm trusting in her new PR team, however. They know their shit and hopefully could give some good exposure to M14's first single and news.
