In what exactly? I d say all I said is deffinately facts.

    Your history is definitely accurate.

But there is really no point for having this argument in a Maronna forum. Each persona see reality as he see. Really no point and it's a totally waste of time.

I will say this tho, the world need to understand that for Israel there is no partner to negotiate with to move on and create a solution for the conflict. I think this is very obvious by the recent events. If people don't see this, than they really know nothing about what's going on here

  2. Look, I know that I write in very emotional way and it's not black or white... but you have no idea how scared and hurt I am. I don't see Palestinian as bad people, I have friend from collage that ate Palestinian. We do live in peace on regular times. I do see Hamas as bad tho.

There is no point for me to actually talk about this In a madonna forum. I now that I will not change your mind

I just do this to pass the time

Palestine shouldn’t even have to share the land of what nowadays is Israel. They created a new State based on where people lived centuries ago. Just what Putin did with Crimea. Israel had the same rights on that land as Russia has on Crimea: NONE.

We have the right and we are gonna stay here

It's completely irrelevant what states recognised each other and when. Gaza is recognised by the international community as an occupied terrority, and that comes with particular rights of resistance. But actually yes I agree with you, one state, however that's constituted, is the only viable solution.

Gaza is not occupied, Israel is not in Gaza, Isreal left this territory completely in 2005. The West Bank is the complicated issue regarding the occupation and is where the international community see as  occupied. Not that for the Palestinian iisreally matters... for them, whole Israel should be palestine. From the river to the sea

Just constantly repeating that there is violence and swearing isn't an argument. And 'the media that I consumed'? If I based my views on Israel/Palestine solely on the media, I would be a rabid supporter of Israel. We can see right now that our governments are all looking the other way as Israel commits horrific war crimes, just as they look the other way as it commits ethnic cleansing.

The first time New York times published something about what is happening right now, they wrote that there's a situation or something like that with a picture of two Palestinians mothers crying. Don't tell me the media coverage in the world is pro Israel, this is some bullshit. You guys know nothing about things that going on here on regular basis. There were 35 terror action only this year in Israel by Palestinians terrorists. Did any of you ever heard about that?

Last year, few meters from where I work, while I was working, a Palestinian terrorist started shooting and killed 5 Israelis. Did you ever heard about that case?

No, you only hear when Israel is responding in Gaza. You hear about those stuff. Not about the rockets, tunnels , shooting and stabing that comes from Palestinians. Only when Israel is responding. So much that now all I see in social media are stuff like "yeah this is their resistance"

    Yeah... resistance

Since 2008, 6407 Palestinians were killed while 308 Israelis were killed in the context of the occupation and conflict.

Those are official numbers from the United Nations. FACTS. Not Instagram posts from nobodies. https://www.ochaopt.org/data/casualties. That was before the attack, obviously.

Having said that, I condemn the Hamas attack against Israel. If they wanted to make things worse for Palestinians, well done.

Some of these nobodies are people from Israel who went through the attacks that you condemn or know somebody that was brutally murdered, butchered, burned, kidnapped and raped. Don't call them nobodies.

"Israel has to give them water and electricity"

it's a blockade. That's kinda the point. And the idea the media disproportionately covers Israeli crimes as opposed to Palestinian ones is so divorced from the reality that it's laughable. Everyone in the world knows what Hamas did a few days ago. Almost no-one will know what has been happening in 2023 and the hundreds of Palestinea murdered unless they are already paying attention.

Yeah? And I'm sure that you know what the Palestinians terrorist did in 2023 (before all of this) and how many israeli were murdered by terror actions. You know small little cool thing like stabbing and shooting. I'm sure the media that you consumed show that to you.

This is exactly like what I've said before, you people have no fucking idea what the fuck is the true reality over year. People keep saying "oh oh oh the WOrld IS ÀlwAys WitH ISrahell But NEver with Palestine, 🥲🥲🥲" while, they never even heat about our victims. FUCKING NEVER. only when Istael is responding. This time it's just so horrible that you can't deny this. But this is the fucking reality over here.

Yes is a bit too religious for me but that no the main message of the video right? There are so many pro Palestinian people that celebrating this. That bitch in the video is nothing less than a terrorist, that fucking bitch

What do you think drives this nationalism? Decades and decades of Islamic terror, suicide bombings on buses and cafes, stabbings, shootings, tens of thousands of rocket launches on innocent civilians, package bombs, murders, and now the horrific events on Saturday - the second largest terror attack in history. You call this “resistance”!? I can’t believe someone on this message board says that. That’s bullshit. They want every Jew in Israel dead - plain and simple. You open that border and trust me, that country israel won’t exist anymore. It’ll turn into an horrid place to live. The Palestinians need to change themselves, their thinking, and their leadership. So done with blaming Israel for everything!

This. Fucking this. And we really saw Saturday that literally if the border is open, Israel is no more.

But this reality is just don't fit the narrative of "Israel - strong bad evil occupation, Palestinians - poor weak victims"

And after year of the media showing *only* the actions of Israel while ignoring our victims and their constant terror action all over Israel, not only people keep with that fucked up "oh oh its so provocative to be with Palestine, nobody ever support them", people just can't deal with the fact that the Palestine is a failed group that all they did in these years is developing their terror organizations.

No other country will deal differently with situation like this. You blame Israel for all of it? Where is the world? Where is Egypt,  Jordan or Iran? What the fuck they did to help the Palestinian people? What your country did? Even Israel has to give them water and electricity while getting rockets from them for 23 years, and you people keep staying in the narrative that  stuck deep in your mind

Wake the fuck up. Even Palestinian people that live in Israel don't want anything to do with Gaza anymore. Wake the fuck up

Nah, from apartheid and occupation. Which will also free Israelis.

No honey. Israelis are free. The thing thats prevents us from true freedom and happiness is Palestinian terrorists and Iran.

They are even proud of it. Horrible crimes can’t be answered with horrible crimes.

Proud??? You think that we are happy for this???

WKAE THE FUCK UP FROM THE NARRATIVE THAT YOU USE TO FRO YOUR COMFORTABLE CHAIR in I don't know where the fuck it is. WE ARE DEALING WITH FUCKING ISIS.

none of us fucking happy for this!!! FUCKING NONEEEE!!!!

When this barbaric "freedom fighters" murdered children and woman an kidnapped innocent people, they weren't like "yeah this is how we are gonna be free". THEY KNEW.THEY FUCKING KNEW, that the response from Israel is gonna be this. THEY KNEW!!! Hamas=Isis is the real problem of the Palestinian  people. They know what they are doing.

I just can't with people around the world thinking they know a glimpse of the history of Israel  showing maps from  1948, screaming "occupation occupation  occupation " knowing nothing about what's going on here for decades.

Not that I'm expecting that my messages  will change your minds. I really don't give a fuck, it's just that I have the need to focus on unless shit because I can see and hear about all of happened anymore

  11. I can't deal with people talking nonsense, speaking with zero knowledge of what's happening in this area. I live here. I know this reality. You don't live here. none of you grew up with memories of exploding buses, with rockets flying into your neighborhoods. You talking about oppression bullshit. Israel left Gaze in 2005 in order to move toward peace. These fucking terrorist monsters spend all of their money on terror and keep growing. PEOPLE SINCE 2000 KEPT GETTING ROCKETS TO THEIR HOMES FROM GAZA IN THE PLACES WHERE THE HORRIFIC EVENTS WERE. SINCE 2009 THE CITY I LIVE IN STARTED TO JOIN THIS TERROR CYCLE.
YOU FUCKING DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!
of course, the blame is on the Israeli government all these years that let this thing go on and on and on, but people can't deny that Israel is facing terrorism.
I'm afraid to get out of the house. I'm afraid the army is gonna call me to join the war. I'm afraid for my family and friends' lives. I can't stop thinking about all of these people that the monsters reached them. there is a Kibbutz that was completely destroyed, with nothing left of it...

A young woman was at the party that was that night. they murdered her, dragged her naked body to Gaza "celebrated" her naked dead body on the street, assaulted her body, and filmed all of this and uploaded this on social media so Israelis would see it. She was from Germany, her mother made a video begging that her daughter's body would returned to her...Think about this case and imagine 1000 more like this ( as for now, we still don't know everything and there are more than 100 people kidnapped in Gaza)... you people talking about oppression... They are fucking monsters...

I have a Palestinian friend from college, and I've heard many Palestinians from Israel saying that from now on they consider themselves Israeli and not Palestinians
their attackers killed many arab people in Israel too

    You don't know shit

Which Israeli town do you live in - I guess it's a mixed area?

yes its mostly in the mixed areas, places that Jews and Arabs live peacefully in harmony.
I live in the south, the areas that get the most rockets from Gaza. So around here the problem is in the roads... people get rocks thrown at their cars and stuff like that... But there's also a lot of heat in streets in many cities...   lots of extremists from both groups that cause lots of violence.  And to think that  its all after (and during)  the mass of Covid. thanks to the vaccine the situation with covid is so much better here, but it feels like its a cycle after cycle. Fucked up

weird, I had never heard about the arab minority in israel, and now this news appears in the news. In this case, some members of the arabic minority from israel are scared because they have written a sign in their house and they fear an attack.

acediace, I really hope things don´t go further with this!

I have a feeling it's gonna get worst unfortunately... there are so many acts of violence between Israelis Jews and Arabs... Lynches on people, Synagogues are burning down, vandalism in stores... It's really fucked up. It's not everywhere, but it very concerning... and so many people express hate right now... It's like people are blind with hate... Scary shit... hope it will get better... There will be a truce eventually between Israel and Hamas, but the situation between Arab and Jews In Israel will take time to fix

The biggest problem in the whole discussion has always been and still is, it is impossible to criticize the State of Israel, its politics and actions, without being put in the anti-semitic corner. Of course, it all is result of the Holocaust. Especially in Germany, at least in politics, there is no open criticism when it comes to Israels policies in the region. It's a no go. The level of self-censorship is astounding. Of course, it is not helpful in any way.

I would like to believe that the majority of people, especially the younger generations in Israel are sick and tired of this conflict. They most likely are in not in favor of Israels policies regarding Palestine and the constant annexion of Palestinian land for new settlements. I don't know if those younger generations are not as politically involved (I don't think so, there have been several demonstrations to vote out Netanyahu), but they are obviously not in power. In power are the conservative and ultra-conservative parties. And who are the ultra-conservatives? Are they the descendants of the Holcocaust survivors? No. The overall majority are immigrants from Russia. They are also the ones living in the illegal settlements. They are the ones rejecting any social progress on all levels. They are very much acting in their very own interest, not necessarily the State of Israel and its citizens. And unfortunately this particular group has way too much influence in the Israeli parliament and government. This group of people that see themselves as something special, a group that does not even want to be part of society and rejects the social norms of a modern society, has this amount of power. To make matters worse, they most likely don't even see themselves as Israelis, the see themselves merely as Jews. And because of that, it all comes down to religion when infact this conflict cannot be solved as long as the parties involved start to have discussions as two independent states. And any party needs to adress mistakes make on their sides first. But I doubt that Israel will ever do that because from their perspective everything they do, is to defend the existence of State of Israel, even when other countries and human rights organisations say Israels actions and provocations are often the reason for this conflict to never end.

Of course younger generations in Israel are sick and tired of all of it. not only young people... I think that the main reason Netanyahu is being  voted again ans again is because of fear... for some reasone some people feel that he bring security ... why? i don't know. Israel is having conflict with Hamas every few years, people are dying and still "he bring secuity"... Its fucked up.  see this as the same thing that happend with trump in usa... there are more and more voices of people that are sick and tired and want Netanyahu out, but the election system here is fucked up too. Many people also want to limit the years that one man can be prime-minister just like the president in usa...
Fuckd up reality. We all want things to change here... There is hope now because of recent elections... but who knows... We'll have to see after the current conflict will be resolved

I only know about what reporters say, which of course is far less than what a person living there experiences. And I love learning.

What is reported normally is this. This is an example of what happened in the year 2000. Being my first month as journalist in the newspaper it impressed me very much:

    - Things are quiet (in terms of international news)

    - Ariel Sharon goes to the Mosque Esplanade (is that the name in English?) on a Muslim sacred day. It's packed with Muslims.

    - A tumult is made.

    - Teen-agers throw stones.

    - The counter attack is brutal.

    - Children are killed. Palestinian families call for revenge.

    - Bombings from Palestinian terrorists

    - Far bigger and violent counter attack.

I agree that ther is something problematic  about what's being reported and what's not... I dont really blame ignorance about what's happening here from people around the world, Its the media fault. But people need to understand that and take...

I also totally agree that theres provocative acts from the Israeli side. The "leaders" from the Israeli far right have done stupid action especially recently that raised the heat of everything that's happening these days...

I only wish for better days. Cause I am truly horrified from recent events. With Hamas what's happening will stop eventually (for some time)... but the situation between Jews and arabs  inside Israel won't... I wish that there will be true leaders as soon as possible in Israel that will actually care and do something to fix all this. It's about fucking time

After 20 years of working as a journalist (now not anymore) I've seen a pattern in this conflict. Israel always provokes Palestine and when Hamas responds they clutch pearls and kill dozens and dozens.

The blatant racism against Muslims is incredibly nauseating, especially considering that most living in Israel are descendants of people who were prosecuted during Nazism. The fact that they didn't learn the lesson of how religion can't be a target to discriminate and kill makes you wonder.

After a whole century of unfair and fabricated wars in the Persian gulf area, and the racism in West countries, I'm surprised radicals aren't bombing us all each day. Muslims are suffering so much. It's really unfair.

And as someone who live here and the memories of his childhood are - buses exploding, terrorist exploding themself at restaurants and rcokets being sent to his neighborhood, I can tell you that The Palestinian side provokes Israel side too... "provokes" is a very small word to explain this....
Hamas is a terror organization that specificly taget civilians... Hamas  are not those who "responds". they are those that causes the problam and they DO NOT care about Palestinians too... especially not Gaza

  17. 10 minutes ago, promise to try said:

sorry but I haven´t seen anything about it on the news here...which two groups are fighting? I´m asking this out of ignorance

Jews and Arabs Inside Israel, not between Israelis and Palestinians from Gaza or the East Bank. And we are talking about mixed cities that have lived in peace and quiet for many years....
I'm sure you gonna hear about it and see it soon, So many horrible videos and pictures... True madness...  You would've thought that a global pandemic will make people cherish life more... guess not

  18. Why? Her country is in war and she is worry and she is not blaming any side as she should and anybody else

If you think that picking sided here is gonna make thing better you are wrong.

You only see the Palestinian side? You really dont give a fuck about the israeli side right? You know how many rocked has been send here lately from Hamas? They even started by sending to Jerusalem, their "holy city"

Children and women are daying from both sides... it's not about picking who is right or wrong, it's about how both sides need to accept reality and think about how to move on...

And dont even start with "well you stole the land"

Let's talk about was usa was before... is it relevant?

What do you expect her to say?

"You know... Palestiniana are right  I'm calling the government  gonna ask them to move out to another place. Maybe back to Europe?"

This week, is the most scary week I even experienced in my life... it's not only about war between Israel and Gaza... there is basically a civil war starting inside israel and it feels like its gonna be everywhere... last night was the most scary night ever... I'm still shocked. While rockets are being sent from Gaza.. people are fighting on the street at few places. People being attacked by groups... both jewish and arabs  a true civil war

    I'm scared as shit

Dont need people that dont even live here to pass their hypocrisy... that is what the whole world is doing right now
