  1. How easy is it to bring cameras / camcorders into the arena? Are there metal detectors? bag checks? I'm just nervous that security is going to see me filming with my handycam and confiscate it???

I've thought about that. Which is why I'm gonna be settling for a pocket-sized HD video recorder that can capture better audio than most smart phones. Not one of those bulky video cameras that fold.

There are tons of 1080p RHT videos on YouTube already, some of which were recorded at 60fps instead of the usual 30fps, so watching those clips, it really looks like she's right there in front of you, even when the camera zooms in. It's awesome. But it's also a shame because so often the audio is not as good as the video. Not even close.

  2. She would never release the DVD before the actual tour is over. We'll probably get it for next Christmas if we're lucky!! Hopefully the DVD features extra songs that have been sung in the special features. Maybe a photo gallery of all the unapologetic bitches!! Paris wound be beautiful especially with La vie en rose. Side note they really missed the opportunity to have the s&s 2009 leg on DVD as well.

I wonder if videos for Unapologetic Bitch for all tour dates so far are available online. It's just so interesting and fun. Which helps, because I'm not really a big fan of that song. XD

And yes, the moment she started the 2009 dates for the S&ST, I wish they had released at least one of those shows on home video as well. She sang Holiday, plus her hair looked better. :3

  3. Does anybody still have a good bootleg from MDNA? I love the concert but don't like the edition. i would lov to watch a bootleg!

And i hope we can save a good bootleg from this tour too! Since Confessions all dvds are edited so much...

Is there a good Confessions bootleg?????

I still have that one from BPProductions. Well, the logo says GLPRODUCTIONS, so who knows, really. It does look like it's made up of videos from different venues stitched together (grainy in some parts), which is understandable, but other than that, it's pretty seamless. And the audio quality is definitely more than I expected. Whoever made it did an awesome job.

I don't remember where I got it from, but it's a good thing I saved it because I just looked for it again online and a YouTube link came up and it's already blocked:

Then there are the videos uploaded by this user:

    https://www.youtube.com/user/gogetamusic/videos

They were all posted in early 2013, but I do remember getting copies of some of them in late 2012. Which makes sense, because some of the video descriptions say "final product."

  4. Manila, please. Asian countries are not all the same. Not all of them are "polite" and reserved during gigs. I just have a gut feeling that she'd be greeted by enthusiastic, screaming fans who have been waiting forever to see her live.

But even if it doesn't happen, it's okay. I'll try my damnedest to capture the entirety of at least one of the two shows with an audio-video recorder that produces decent sound quality.

OT: For those who intend to capture complete performances of song numbers (if not all of the show) and are still weeks or months away from their RHT stop, have you thought about investing on a good camera? You know, in case this tour doesn't come out on DVD like RIT didn't? :p

  5. So happy for the Asian fans!!! Japan, Taipei, Thailand...very cool  And she IS going to China after all! So the restrictions she'd have to face in mainland China don't apply for Hong Kong and Macau, I guess?

And I'm so jealous of the people going to the Macau show, wow! Must be amazing to see her in such an intimate venue. I bet she's planning something like MDNA L'Olympia.

Wait, just how intimate is the RHT venue in Macau? A L'Olympia-ish video / broadcast sounds like a great idea, but I do hope she doesn't cut short the show like she did with MDNAT.

And if she does film the Macau show(s), I hope she still releases an arena DVD / BD. Madonna concerts ought to be big, even on home video. XD

  6. Someone keeps on tinkering with RHT's wiki page. A few days ago, Thailand had been added to the list of dates (February 9, if I remember correctly), but was not accounted for in the overall number of shows. Then it was gone.

Now, I'm seeing Taiwan (February 4), and the additional North American dates between December 20 and January 20 are there, but the overall count is back to 64.

I know, I know. I shouldn't be relying on Wikipedia for such information, but, but, but! It's fun seeing the list of dates in Wiki's typical format. These changes are messing me up. LOL. XD

I'd post screenshots, but I'm not sure if I even have that option. Tried using PhotoBucket. Not working. Ehh.

  7. It's pretty faithful to the original like most of the mixes but appears to have been beefed up slightly for the live show.

Oops, you're right. If this remix is actually the basis of the RHT rendition and not the other way around, then of course they will have changed some things for the show. :p

  8. i can see La Vie en Rose working only for french speaking audiences. I can't imagine US or asian audiences singing along to it.

This makes sense. La Vie en Rose is great, but I was looking forward to Ghosttown and Joan of Arc. Maybe the two will be interchanged for the US and the would-be Asian dates...? I mean she sang LVR sitting down. She can do that with GT and JOA.

  9. please can we talk about the greatness of DEEPER & DEEPER????:bow::bow:

it was the version i've always dreamed of..... even better :drama:

i don't know about you guys but when heard the first chords my heart stop, then a pause and for a second i though "oh no! slow version again" but restart in all his full glory, even the guitar bridge and the final verses with a proper end (unlike the GS version)

(i can't find a full performance video and i need it in my life)

This. I was never a huge fan of Deeper and Deeper. I like it fine. But the rendition of it for this tour is just...wow. The same goes for Like a Virgin---even better than the Confessions Tour version!
