Wow what a masterpiece !!!
Heartbreaking and so beautiful... it's been a long time she hasn't look so human and vulnerable in a video...

From what I gather being Spanish and Portuguese being close to my language, I guess she sings
"The world is savage/ the road is lonely"
That's in "Killers Who Are Partying"

I think "haunting" is the right word...
Listening to it in the dark late at night is perfect bliss

This song gives me goosebumps everytime... When I listen to the ending I picture her performing it live with the batukaderas

I like the fact that some song have a title that's not part of the lyrics. It makes the song more like stories.

Is anyone willing translate the French review?
Madonna, 61, is always ready for bravado ! Unlike the [French] rap duet NTM or The Stranglers, gentrified and not that punk anymore, or the now sober and mellowed Marylin Manson. 36 years after her infamous VMAs performance of "Like a Virgin", the Material Girl, queen of the box office with more than 300 million records sold, is still a provocation boss. For her 14th album, Madame X, she's alternately blonde, brunette, gay, straight, trans. "La Madone" [that's her most common nickname in France], is "a secret agent, travelling around the world, changing identities, fighting for freedom, bringing light to dark places". If the looks reflect her early carrer - fishnets, horsewhip, religious iconography, Marlene Dietrich tribute - the sound of the new 15 tracks reminds us more of the best moments from the Ray of Light to American Life era. Obviously, the sexagenerian chose to work with the rising international newbies (Colombian rapper Maluma, French producer Mirwais, Brazilian singer Anitta, American rapper Quavo...). A latin and reggaeton sounding new album, born in Portugal, where Madonna 's been living since Trump's election. You can't silence Queen M. And that's for the best.

So there will be shots without the eye patch. *whew* .
Maybe we'll learn how Madame X lost her eye

I've listened to the whole song a few times... is it one of the strongest songs they've come up with ?
It could have been an album track on Rihanna's Loud...
-
To be fair I was kind of disappointed when I read that the song that'll be realeased as (promo) singles will almost all be featurings... but Swae Lee sounds good
I listened to "Guatemala" and I totally get why M would want to work with him on Madame X... -

It actually reminds me of a modern keep it together...
I love how everyone references to a different song
My turn : it reminds me of Best Night and Ghosttown, with a little bit of Inside Out.
I agree with the person that said it sounds like a RH track with a proper mix
At first listen I've been confused by her voice and the way she sings, especially in the verses, she reminds me of Sia...

The track is available on my iTunes Store but I can't download it..
“God Control” thread. Video OUT NOW!!!

She was at the premiere of W/E and she loved it. She said she admires her and is particularly found of "Into the Groove"
Makes me think of a Patti song "Parhs that Cross"
