  1. The charts don't matter for Madnna. It's all about the tour and legacy. Nobody bags an eye when a new album from U2 or The Rollingstones isn't crazy successful sales wise. It seems as the media loves to compare Madonna to all the pop princesses of the moment and how they are doing on the charts.  Everyone seems to forget that she is MADONNA! As long as she makes music that she is happy wit I'm good!

  2. I don't want to be negative but, I was at the Vancouver show and know for a fact that it was not 100% sold out. I was able to exchangey tickets from a section on the side of the stage to a section in the middle by the cross that was first being sold as VIP. There where still a lot of tickets around me when I looked at the ticketmaster map. The girls next to me where upgraded for free from the venue the day of the show. I was wondering how some shows are reported as sold out when they are not. Not that it really matters but with the new numbers being released I'm just curious. Obviously single tickets shouldn't count against artist as most of the time there are single seats available in every venue.

  3. She would never release the DVD before the actual tour is over. We'll probably get it for next Christmas if we're lucky!! Hopefully the DVD features extra songs that have been sung in the special features. Maybe a photo gallery of all the unapologetic bitches!! Paris wound be beautiful especially with La vie en rose. Side note they really missed the opportunity to have the s&s 2009 leg on DVD as well.

  4. I was there last night, and it was awesome!! She was not drunk she was just messing around with Amy, and at first you thought she was having fun with a fan. She was in a great mood last night and it's probably the most talkative I've ever seen her. She seemed relaxed and like she was having a good time. Secret was a complete surprise and was amazing

Although I kinda hoped to hear who's that girl (I wish that ghostown had been replaced with Secret instead) but whatever. I was very happy with my seats as I called ticketmaster a couple of days before to see if I could change my seats for ones that where closer to the cross. Had an awesome time!!

  5. I'm surprised she isn't playing Singapore since she is playing in so many Asian markets, and 2 shows for Japan seems light. Australia can definitely use the extra shows with all the gaps. It looks like her team was expecting 4 shows in each NZ and Australian stop. Hopefully they will add at least 1 extra show in those territories or else its going to be a tour/vacation for her. They could definitely add more Asian shows after Australia and South America.

  6. Its probably a 90/10 split after expenses. And even that seems like a lot. Then she has to pay a percentage to her management and taxes. If U2's 360 was a stadium tour and cost 700k to produce each show this show should be between $350k and $500k but again no one really knows. And for Ms show do you calculate all expenses related to rehearsal and production and average if out per a show?? I would just use the amount of money it cost to set up break down and move the stage and crew. You are paying the crew a per week probably so if they do 3 vs 4 shows in a week your profit increases as you would be paying them either way. But one thing is for sure M is getting paid!!

  7. Mexico is probably out because its the first show after a longer break. I think Paris would be nice to fit with the romantic theme. Maybe film one from 2016 if there are changes. Hong Kong would be amazing since she hasn't been there, Australia would be nice since its been so long, but I was under the impression that if your show gets taped some of the view is blocked by the cameras and it can be annoying.

  8. First off this story is utter bull shit. The dancers know they are expected to work long hours and that their job is physically demanding especially during the rehearsal process. Once the tour starts their schedule probably opens up a bit. They have days off and get to travle the world on a hudge production. They are probably tired as hell but so excited that they are going to share the stage with a legend.

  9. I liked the MDNA tour, but a few things that happened during that tour might have turned casule fans off for future tours.

    1) late starts, if your ticket says 8 you should be on stage by 9 or 9:15. I heard plenty of people bitching about her tardiness, and it wasn't just a few shows it was all of them.

    2) the violence within the shows was disturbing to alot of people. I personally wasn't bothered by it.

    3) Setlist could have been stronger. The problem is although the show was very enjoyable if you swapped a few songs for more hits of fan favorites if would have been even better. I could have done without revolver, I'm addicted, and I'm a sinner.
