The thing is that most people simply didn't know that there would be an opening act, so they expected that HER start time would be 8pm. I guess nobody would've said anything if she had started at 8:45pm in that case, but 10:20 was a bit too much.

I think fans have gotten used to waiting for concerts to start. U2 don't have an opening act and they have been starting their European shows at least an hour late and no one has complained...but then again the time on the ticket is 7:30 pm. What a dream!
