Katy did 151 shows though, madonna's doing 81, big difference, cannot compare!
Wow! That's a lot of shows. I prefer Madonna to do half of the shows and gross less than for her to end up exhausted after performing for that amount of time!

Don't know how it didn't become a hit. I think about it everytime I listen to it, the lyrics, music, video.. it had everything! It resonates so much with me and it has Madonna written all over it. Such a pitty.

Loved reading this. All her collaborators always talk about her work ethic and people still can't believe she's behind every aspect of her music and career. Hopefully one day the world will realise and give her the credit she deserves.

I would love her to have the top tour this year but if not then I'm going to be equally happy. She's been doing it for 30 years and still going strong and the fact that she has the drive and inspiration to put up a show like this after all this years, it's something to be grateful for and admire. Stop being so overdramatic!

I still remember the first day I listened to it and fell in love with it! The promo for COADF was massive!! She was everywhere and it is one of my favorite eras. Everything worked so perfectly, music, videos, promo, tour!!

sorry, I'm kind of laughing my ass off at some of the comments here, you guys keep me young, but I kind of didn't want to single anyone out.
I'm just kind of frustrated with my tickets and frustrated beyond belief that I did everything humanly possible to get into that golden triangle last time and it was seriously the SAME people both nights up in there. There were even some people (no names) not from Mexico who were in the golden triangle and had been to the golden triangle all over the world. Oh, and obviously some douche bag local hipster bloggers who don't give a shit about Madonna, they only care to be seen, were in there. These same local hipsters also just happened to be invited to the Hard Candy gym grand opening party.
Now I'm going to be a mile away again, and I'm actually a fan and I actually spent my hard earned money to see her. I can't speak for others, but those bloggers and faux Mexican celebrities didn't even pay to see her. They got free tickets. One of my friends got 2 free tickets to MDNA that were WAY better than mine, which I paid for, from someone with "connections" and he ended up leaving half way through because "he wasn't really feeling it".
I was just as frustrated as you were during MDNA. Lots of casual fans were in the golden triangle and I also got not very good tickets (I was 10th row but to the side of the stage and had only a giant screen in front of me). And I bought the live pass!
This time, I think (and hope) I have better tickets... to me I guess it is about luck. Of course if you have some sort of "connections" it helps. But I would say: money, time and some luck will get you there. I still have to fulfill my first row dream though!

It would be great if it is in Mexico but I doubt it. I think Turin would be a great choice, they have 3 dates!! and sure are passionate and dedicated fans.

More dates would be great for the final gross, but schedule seems tight.. except for those australian dates. Hopefully she'll be able to add a couple more in Asia or Australia.

I didn't buy the live pass for the first day and got a good seat. So.. no live pass for the second one either. I'm sure we'll find something good.
