  1. I just don't understand what's so hard to get. If you're rich enough to buy things then you can buy it. If you can't afford it, you can't afford it. I saw the most beautiful Loewe handbag in harrods the other week and I couldn't afford it. I'm not gonna stand at the till and wait for someone that can and ask if they've got a family or responsibilities.

Haha omg I so love this!!!! Perfect post !

  2. What is the reason he and others have been "turned down" from this forum?

Each to their own I suppose but I personally don't understand seeing the same show over and over again. I like variety and while I love Madonna more than any other I'd rather do something else with my time and money than follow her around the world. That level of obsession is not healthy imo. I wouldn't be surprised if these same people go on forums (eg Mtribe) and pick it all to pieces.

The applications just never get accepted..... hes waiting on yet another application to be approved.

Neil loves variety too, he would see on average one different concert every week of the year. And anyone who gets to know him knows how unobsessed, balanced and amazingly positive he is!

  3. Wow it amazes me how judgmental people are of the way other people spend their money. If someone chooses to go to multiple M concerts, See the same movie multiple times, holiday at the same destination multiple times, spend all their spare money on stamp collecting, or spend every spare minute they have at the gym, who are we to judge them ? I say people should do what they enjoy and as long as they are not hurting anyone they can do it as much as they want.

I actually know Neil and he is the nicest hardest working guy you will ever meet. He would speak for himself on here if the mods would let him have an account, but he has tried more than 3 times to get one and they wont let him, 9 i know he is trying again too so he can have his say) so its a bit hard for him to stick up for himself and tell his side of the story. Like the rest of us he has to buy his tickets for every concert , there are no freebies.. If you want to know how people get the time off work, Neil owns his own very successful business so he is able to get the time he needs off without too much problem and ,no his parents dont pay for everything, Quite the contrary. Neil actually bought his aging parents a house next to him so he could be close to them. And thinking that because people spend a lot of time going to numerous concerts that they dont have anything esle in their lives is quiet frankly ridiculous. For example Neil runs a charity for stroke survival victims in his spare time, so saying that people like this are a bit immature is really horrible. He is anything but immature.

So many of you are asking why people are in the pit all the time for MDNA, well maybe M's team look after the fans they have got to know over the years and who are spending their hard earned money on tickets. i know many artists have friends and family lists so they can allocate tickets to people, I bet its the same with M. God knows they deserve it with the amount of time and money they spend going to M's concerts and following M around the world. But isnt that an amazing way to travel the around the world going to new places and meeting new friends? (its how i met Neil and many others). I think its wonderful. Spending your time and money doing what you love the most..... who could ask for anything more?, and certainly we can't blame people for doing it. All i can guess is people are jealous that they are not able to do this but we all make our choices in life of how we want to live. And if seeing M once or twice is enough for you, thats great! But dont judge other people and put restrictions on them just because its not how you live your life. M fans should stick together not bully and pick on each other, especially those they don't even know.

Anyway I just wanted to give you the heads up as i suspect if Neil has been turned down from joining this forum i suspect others who you are regularly seen in the pit or front rows have probably been turned down too, so cant speak for themselves. I only use Neil as an example because you have mentioned his name several times. I am sure everyone who attends multiple shows has an interesting story as to why and how they are able to do it. I myself are attending 12 concerts this tour ( my first Madonna concerts ever) Many in the front row, all of which i bought myself online just like everyone else has to. Maybe i'm just lucky, or more persistent than others i dont know. All i know is we all have the same opportunity to get those tickets and at the end of the day it comes down to the luck of the draw on sale day.

  4. There was someone who bad mouthed Lola saying she was away half of the show (backstage) and even missed madonna's song message (la vie en rose) to her. but what you say sounds entirely different. :) great to hear you had a good time and that she took a pic with you :)

Really? I guess some people just love to be negative.... Like those talking about bad sales for this tour etc. Lola was there for the majority of the show, and always when M was on the main stage. She did come and go, I didn't ask her but I guessed she was going to the heart stage, or down that way when M was performing down that part of the stage. Maybe she did go backstage.... Who knows, maybe someone spotted her down by the heart stage? All I know is the negative comments I have heard seem unfounded to me. I would hate to be famous and under constant scrutiny for everything I did.

  5. Wow!!! I'm surprised she said yes as she seems so uber private. Was she singing along to all the new songs?

Yea she was singing along and dancing to all the songs, but especially Holiday. She was surprised we had travelled all the way from Australia to see the shows. Guess that's why she said yes.

  6. All this controversy about a teenager at a concert lol. I was front row and spoke to Lola and her friends they were well behaved and lovely to chat too. They were having a great time like any young people at a concert would. I could see how proud Lola was of her mum and M was looking at Lola a lot when she was right down by us. I also got a great selfie with Lola which was fab. I asked her and she was like sure and flipped the bird when I took it. Classic! What an amazing experience for my second Madonna concert.

  7. I have 18 days to wait! I have unfollowed most of my madonna friends and groups on facebook. That's about all i have done . Will avoid anything on the web like videos etc, I know i will end up seeing the odd picture or reading something by accident but I'm ok with that. Seeing as this is the first time i have seen her IN MY LIFE after the concert i had tix to in Sydney in 1993 was cancelled due to storms I am trying to stay a spoiler free as possible as i want it to be a huge surprise for me! I am lucky that my concert is soon though, i dont think i would have much luck if it was months away... or even next year! Good luck staying spoiler free guys!

  8. Interview with Mike Dean

What are you working on these days?

I'm working on Madonna's tour right now, helping her put her show together. It's cool: taking old songs and making the old stuff match the new stuff. I try to use all the same sounds I use on music now. Drums. Replace bass lines with 808s. Trap snares, hi-hats—all that shit. It's kind of cool. We're working on "Holiday" right now.

Sounds like Holiday is a definite.... YAY!!!!!!

  9. Looking at the Australia dates I wonder weather they are planning on adding extra dates in the same city's the week before? Eg add two nights for Melbourne the Week before the already released dates. Live nation will know the first Aussy concert will always sell out so this will guarantee them good sales for extra shows in Melbourne which may otherwise not sell as well. It wouldn't make so much difference for the other cities though I think people like to go to the first concert played in their city too. Just a though as I think we are all thinking dates will be added after existing dates.what do you think?

  10. Not saying I agree with it but I did expect platinum would include floor, lower and mid level tiered seating similar to Rolling Stones. Not providing the coloured breakdown of sections is dodgy though.

Yes me too. Rolling Stones was also most the venue for the top tier price seating and I though M would be he same. Rolling Stones had no trouble selling out, but they were doing a hits heavy tour which M may or may not be doing.

  11. I know many in USA and Europe get sick of hearing the same songs every tour but I hope she does a hits heavy set list for Asia/ Australia/NZ. These are fans ( including me) who have never seen her live and we would love to see those songs. Even a few mash ups to give us a taste. Hopefully she may tweak the set list for the second leg to include more hits if she doesn't have them in the first leg. It would also be wise for her to do this if she is planning a future tour here. If people don't get what they would like to hear this time at those prices , unlikely they will go if she comes again. In saying that I realise this might be the last time we get her down our way. Let's hope we get a good balance of old and new.

  12. Already got my tickets from the Icon pre-sale, however looked on Ticketek during the day out of curiosity to see what was offered for all different prices.

Outraged when I was offered two seats in section 42 (second tier) in Sydney, which is considered platinum! And 'gold' for Melbourne offered seats in section 16 which is rear view.

$500 is reasonable for super fans to get floor seats, especially the way the stage extends. $500 is questionable for first tiered seating; but for second tier seats at $500 and rear view for $300 makes me question how well the shows will sell amongst the general public, as I really want her to add more shows.

Obviously the floor seats will sell out, and the silver and bronze will sell for those who dont't want to spend a fortune. Guess will have to wait and see on Monday.

I can now see why Ticketek / Live Nation have been so vague with the seating charts, especially not having coloured categories to distinguish price ranges.

Yes I agree 100% . I doubt there were many gold/silver/bronze seats. I think most the venues are platinum and VIP seats. It is a clever way to claim seats stat at $99.... But there are only 10 of those haha. Let's hope we get more shows.
