I think Madonna is amazing and have been a fan since the beginning. For me, her first disappointing album was Bedtime Stories. I still to this day can only get into like 5 songs. And those songs are all good, not great. It seems like the first time Madonna started following trends instead of setting them like she did with Erotica or later with Ray of Light. Despite this, I would not say that Bedtime Stories is bad.
For me, the only bad Madonna albums are Hard Candy and American Life. I loathe them both and listen to literally two songs off of each album. I do have to take a pass on MDNA, as I just never got into it at the time it came out. It might be good, it might suck, I don't know yet. I will listen to it a lot more once my Rebel Heart mood starts to fade...

I would love to see a Deluxe Edition of Ray of Light come out, maybe with these instrumental versions, other B-Sides, demos and stuff we've not even heard yet. Also it would be cool if they remixed it in high resolution 5.1 surround like they recently did for the 2014 deluxe edition of Songs From the Big Chair by Tears For Fears. Seems like the album would really shine in surround!

I can't think of any she has not worked with that I would like, but I would love her to do more work with William Orbit and Stuart Price. Their albums with her are my absolute favorite Madonna albums.

I was just talking about Vogue the other day with my bestie. I could never pick a single favorite/best Madonna song of all time, but gun to my head, if I had to, I would choose Vogue. It is iconic. It is quintessential. It is a classic and it is timeless. And it's the best pop video ever made. I never get sick of listening to Vogue and I will never forget the first time I heard it.
I was walking into the cast/crew party for a high school musical I had been involved with and it was playing on the speakers out back in the pool area. I had never in my life heard bass like that. It cut straight through me. I still remember watching the woofers thump. Amazing. It really was Vogue that prompted me to go back and revisit all the Madonna I knew (and some I had forgotten) and realize what a big fan I was. Then I got the Immaculate Collection when it came out and it was all over for me! LOL!

I know this is the appreciation thread, but... I hate this song so much. I finally unchecked it in iTunes so it stops playing. Ugh. Love most of Rebel Heart though!!

I liked this one from almost the beginning. It's as if Madonna wrote this song about my best friend, which probably makes me love it more. He's such an unapologetic bitch!!

Personally, I think Ghosttown is Madonna's best song since the stuff on Confessions. Amazing song. Gives me goosebumps!
