  1. It's pain but lol cuz you can "hear it" either way.

I think I'm the only person on earth who finds "Graffiti Heart" to be the best song on the entire album. It's my absolute favorite song, a total perfect sing along song and it makes me happy. My top three:

    Graffiti Heart

    Beautiful Scars

    Messiah.

So yea good thing I like the whole album otherwise the tour could sadden me. Lol

  2. That description of your DWT experience is so perfect!! DWT was my first experience too and when she emerged I had chills. I just couldn't believe it was actually her. I had pretty bad seats but it didn't even matter.

I'm going to the DC show. I'm so disappointed a second night was never added. :( That means I'm going to have to find a way to make it to Atlanta in Jan. I kinda like I have some time to work it all out. Ideally I'd love to go to a San Juan show but

that's probably way out the budget for me.

Thanks for "getting it". That DWT moment was ...there's no words. Ya just had to be there and since you were, you totally understand. As our Rebel Heart ATL date draws near, feel free to hit me up and maybe we can at least high five in the hallway on the way to our sections! ;)

  3. My skinny short butt will be at the January 20th ATLANTA show! This will be my 5th Madonna show and I'm as excited for this as I was my first. My first show was Drowned World. I was a teenage boy that loved Madonna since I was able to speak. When the lights began flickering and Madonna appeared within that smoke with "I traded fame for love...", my body went into another phase of reality, my eyes watered, you could even smell the magic of her presence. It's been an honor to see Re-Invention, Sticky And Sweet and MDNA. A piece of my heart does break that I missed the flawless Confessions Tour but she came nowhere near me and I couldn't afford to travel. But I'm blessed regardless. Rebel Heart is a phenomenal deep and fun album so I'm super extra excited to hear those great songs live. Plus the oldies hinted at are some of my all time favorites. The ATL crowd has always been awesome. MDNA in Dallas was cool too!

Anyway, my name is James and I'll be at Rebel Heart in Atlanta. If anyone knows of any shoes that would add height to me but are like dude cool (lol), lemme know. I'm 5ft 4inches "tall" and I'll be on the floor so...yeaaaaa lol.

  4. I'd kill to see Jesus but I voted Tupac just because that's the way you'd see Madonna truly show how she handles that good true massive shit! ;)

JFK Jr was my second choice tho cuz he was FINE. But ummm gross at me picking the dead guys. I promise I'm not into that. Lol

I bet when she was ramming a dildo up Guy's flabby ass, he was looking at pictures of John Wayne

  5. I really hope for a live broadcast of this tour like the old HBO days.....but no way would she or "they" broadcast the first show live or any other way. There's too much worry with the first show anyway ....from first night jitters (M is notorious for having stomach cramps the first night), to glitches that could occur that can only be seen when the show is actually performed in such a capacity. It's just too much. The 4th show...maybe. But not the first. Personally, I like seeing the final show LIVE like back in the day.

  6. I'm going to go ahead and hide behind a pretty tree....lol....but Iconic is one of two songs I've just not really been able to get into from RH. RH is my ALBUM tho....but I've just never really liked that song. I like the meaning, get the vibe, but I skip it. Sooooo, I need to revisit it some. However, EVERYTHING sounds different in person, in concert, with that sound, that visual....so I'm cool with it being the opening number. To quote whatsherface in Truth Or Dare: "I just wanna see Madonna".

  7. We may get a very soulful version of LDLHA.....she may dedicate it in New York to New York for not having 7 nights sold out....she may dedicate it to my show in Atlanta for only having one night instead of two. Ugh I hope not!!! Personally, I think having less stops on this tour was a potential plan. The higher costs will still cover it and it'll help her energy and voice. She was so exhausted by the end of MDNA. I care more about her than I do the dates and shit!

  8. GGW is fine when ya want something familiar but in a slightly elevated vein only Madonna can hit. Once you are in the song, it's good. But it's still not the immaculate in her collection. I felt the performance for MDNA was fine enough....I personally don't need a rehash. But this is Madonna's show and I can't get mad...that would just be human nature. But I'd make a guess that GGW isn't at all a part of the RH Tour set. Just my prediction. Watch her do 18 seconds of it on the pole.

  9. So basically we know the songs in the set, we are now just awaiting their correct order. I'm happy with the songs selected....there's ALWAYS going to be many missing. I'd kill for a Cherish (she hates that song) or a Beautiful Scars (looooove) but I'm happy with where we seem to be. I predict most hardcore fans over time will rate this as one of her best tours. Just a feeling :)

  10. My understanding is that 'Amazing' was initially on the set list for DWT, which Warner wanted as a single, but Madonna wanted 'Impressive Instant'. Warner could have used the tour performance of 'Amazing' as a video, so off the set list it came.

I always thought Impressive Instant should've at least been a "club single" release. I'm glad she chose that because I love that performance. Amazing is a good enough track but it's never really done anything for me personally.

Just saw someone say she replaced Amazing with The Funny Song. LOL that cracks me up. She'd rather do some weird random little ditty than one of her own official tracks that Warner wanted. Hahaha

  11. I think Madonna sometimes sacrifices a song she likes for another that flows better with her conception of the show. For instance, we now know that she wanted Falling Free to be a single, but she decided not to perform it at the MDNA tour.

Agreed and add in some hits and certain new songs just won't flow or it adds a time issue. I'm sure that's frustrating for her and it's frustrating for those of us who actually love the entire new album, like I love Rebel Heart. It's the nature of the beast tho. It's a tricky highway because we want some hits too but the sound and flow is something we won't know yet until we see the show. Sometimes reading a set list still doesn't give you the full sound and vibe because she can reinvent everything so drastically. Fortunately, she's the master of this stuff so we know to trust her.

I'd bet the only tour she may have not sacrificed a song per se, would be Drowned World (which is in my top 3)...the only issue there, perhaps, was just not having enough time to sing more newer songs like Swim or Skin.

  12. Won't she do a "trail" concert for friends and family before the first night? I remember something like that for one of her tours, I forget which..

I thought she usually does that with her shows. Also remember reading how she sits back and watches the show several times with a stand-in who does her exact moves. She studies the whole show as the viewer before putting her final stamp on it. That's always intrigued me.
