  1. BTW, I was just wondering. Last time around during MDNA, when the tour stopped in England I remember lots of ppl getting worked up over the show ending way late at night and not being able to catch the train back.

Since this'll be my first time in NYC, I don't really know how hard it'll be getting back to JFk airport, taking into account the show will prolly be over past midnight. Would the NYC subway be a good idea after midnight? Should I leave before the show is over (I truly hope I don't have to)?

The Subway is reasonably safe, but I've always found JFK quite inconvenient to get to. After midnight, when the trains are running slower, MSG to JFK could take over 2 hours. It's pricier but I would just take an Uber

  2. Could be because La Isla is an amazing, classic song and Candy Shop is...well.... Candy Shop

I like both but I can definitely see why people see a Madonna tour as prime real estate for a more compelling song being perfed

La Isla is a classic, it's on the Immaculate Collection, it is one of her biggest hits in many markets. She's performed it a lot but this tour will make it 4 of the last 6. So it's not every single tour, and she didn't perform it last time around.

Candy Shop is actually on three tours in a row (something that has not happened to La Isla actually) and is not a classic. I don't particularly mind Candy Shop, but the two situations are clearly different.

  3. It does have a similiar concept to Dia de Muertos. The deceased ancestors come back to earth and they do rituals to absolve the sufferings of the dead.

I believe there were pictures of Arienne Phillips visiting China awhile back. I guess maybe she was doing research!

Yes, and the Tibetan Book of the Dead is a very interesting religious text
