Only one performance? Good fucking bye! I was hoping for an Inside Out or Wash All Over Me performance, but meh… I'll take anything and the dancers are involved. The new pic is probably from Jonathan Ross.
Well there will be at least two, because descriptions mention her performing on Wednesday and Friday. Hopefully it's more than one song each time, but we'll get two songs minimum.
-
That looks amazing! What's the context?
-
Inside Out reminds me of Sanctuary for some reason. Not in the way it sounds or anything, but just the way its sort of a gem towards the end of the album. Not a single, not a lot of attention, just a lush, amazing song.

Print, TV shows, award shows = promo
PROMO TOUR = Roseland, Brixton Academy etc
Yeah but that's really a Madonna fan distinction and not an literal distinction. We cannot expect a dancer to use the Madonna fan definition of a promo tour. What she did in Europe and is now continuing to do with Ellen most definitely is a promotional tour
-
I think M fans has a specific idea of what "promo tour" means that not even one necessarily does. Her team has been on a promo tour for weeks and now it's continuing to Ellen. I don't think this necessarily confirms a set of mini concerts in various cities.

4 total. I purchased the deluxe on iTunes and the super deluxe on CD. I also sent the Deluxe CD to a friend and redeemed my digital super deluxe from Ticketmaster.
-
FINALLY got mine!

Level 100 for Barclays is mid-bowl, so those prices did need to be lowered. I doubt people are aware that those got lowered, but they should sell better now.
Level 200 has also been lowered. Before, there was nothing below $150, now some are $96
-
Ticketmaster has now lowered some of the prices for the Barclays show. Haha seems I should have waited to buy tickets, but you never know how things are going to shake out
-
Refinery 29 also isn't really a feminist website specifically.
-
it must be Ghosttown, LFL didn't do much.
She'll definitely do Ghosttown, the question is whether she'll do a second song. Many acts last year did.
-
Yeah, I am without mine as well. Need to get that extra sale!
-
YAS! The drums make this song. I need a live performance with dramatic drums
And the contrast between "I curse the day we met" and "You're memory is haunting me," how differently she sings those lines back-to-back is just sensational.
-
So I wonder when the Ellen thing is going to be filmed. It must be soon
-
Brooklyn!
Maybe a second show if more NYC dates get announced and are magically cheaper
-
I mean, I think the third single pretty much HAS to be a 'rebel' song. M Dolla wouldn't be talking up this duality and just release three 'heart' songs in a row
-
I noticed for Barclays that there were tickets behind the stage for $100??? WTF? Who would get and pay for those kind of tickets???
There are some behind the stage going for closer to $200!
-
What is it with all these interviews? Wow, I can barely keep up! She's on fire this time
I'm starting to be like why wasn't I approached for an interview? It seems like every other human alive is interviewing Madonna
-
No, iHeartRadio does video streams of their shows as Yahoo exclusives in general. I think you can watch them on some TV channel too, but I forgot what.
It'll be on NBC
-
Yup. Even the King of All media will make sacrifices for the Queen!
It's also why I am hoping for a performance of Ghosttown. A lot of singers who've come on complain about having to sing so early in the morning. If she's not on until 4 or 4:30...
Not to dwell on Gaga, but I know she sang Edge of Glory and Hair when she went on Howard Stern. So he may ask Madonna to perform as well
-
I think so. The upper seats for MSG & especially for Barclays are too expensive. A lot of the upper seats are more than double, some triple the price of MDNA. No one will pay more than $400 for seats that are so far away.
Yeah. I mean I had shitty seats for MDNA, but I saw her in Yankee Stadium, which is obviously a big stadium. I knew I was going to pay more for an arena, and I'm happy to, but some upper level seats basically behind the stage are going for $200+ and you need to shell out $400+ to even get out of the upper level.
My friend decided our price point was $200-300 per ticket and were hoping to get pretty good seats... still in the upper level haha
-
There seem to be a lot of tickets left. Is this because of the pricing?
-
We'll need a therapy group. But let's enjoy every moment while we're living the dream era!
I don't think I've ever watched the awards, just the fall show. Do people usually perform just one song or a mini showcase?
Last year was the first year of this show, so who knows whether it'll be the same this time. But last year most performers did two songs
-
Got tickets for Barclays on the 19th! I wasn't able to afford the quality of seats I was hoping for, but at least my angle to view the stage is good. As long as the angle to the stage is good, there really aren't bad seats in a venue like Barclays.
I will keep an eye out for better seats.

Donna and Nikki should come back when Madonna does her "bottle of wine and acoustic guitar" tour
