  1. Why should she do only Brazil and Argentina?

That doesnt make much sense financially to bring the tour only to two countries for a handful of shows.

Considering also that Argentina has some economic troubles at the moment, while other countries like Chile, Peru or Colombia are growing economically. It makes more sense to have a real South American tour than just some "exclusive" one-off gigs in 2 countries.

I hope for the South American fans it will happen, even though I have a feeling she will concentrate on Australia and Asia after she's done touring N.America and Europe, and that she may skip S.America this time around.

  2. Unless it goes:

    North American in August/September

    Australia/Japan in October

    Europe in November/December

It's unlikely they'll make her tour first the northern hemisphere, then the southern, then again the northern emisphere.

October is also still Aussie football (or Cricket?) season so

all major stadiums will be booked anyway.

Usually (with a few exeptions) big stadium tours in Australia happen during

    November-December or January-March.

AC/DC, u2, coldplay, etc... they all toured Aussie stadiums either last couple of months, or during first 2-3 months of the year.

So if there's any truth to those rumours It's more likely

to be N.America in late summer/autumn , followed by Europe in Nov/Dec. and

    Australia/Asia sometimes in early 2016y

Then again they say she'll be in Turin on the 20 and 21 November. Since the 20 will fall on a friday I assume the rumour is fake, or badly planned on those who book the venes.

  3. She gave too many dates in the USA the last time, the Midwest didn't care for ha.

I agree. She should rather focus on countries where she never played before, and where she could easy fill 70,000-capacity stadiums instead of playing arenas in the Midwest of the US that only fit 18,000 people.

Would also make more sense financially.

  4. MadonnaTribe: Good-bye stadiums, hello arenas!

Honestly, with U2 going back to arenas, even though they could have easily sold out stadium gigs all over the world, Madonna's supposed move back to arenas doesn't come as a surprise to me. Btw, we should keep in mind that for the MDNA Tour, the production designer knew already a year before the tour started that it would be a stadium tour.

Even though I think it will be great for American and us European fans to see her in indoor arenas, if this rumour is true about the

arena-only tour I fear M could skip Australia, Asia, S.America alltogether.

For example in Australia alone, she would have to tour at least 2 months to meet ticket demand (Pink's last 2 Aussie tours lasted that

long), if she did an arena-tour there. Economically it wouldn't make much sense to ship tons of equipment across the world just to

    do a few arena-shows.

So for the sake of all fans who she didn't visit for a long time (or never visited), I hope it will be a mixed arena/stadium thing.

With some stadium gigs at least for South American, Aussie, Asian fans... so that she doesn't skip those regions.

  5. It's a given that they already have the schedule and initially dates well and truly finalised. Since the album wasn't due to be released until the end of April, it's fairly safe to assume that she doesn't plan to tour during the northern summer (unless she plans to do even less promo for RH than she did for MDNA, which I can't really see happening this time around).

But Hard Candy was also released in April,

and she started the s&s tour in Europe, then the Americas, then continued in 2009 in Europe.

so it could make sense to do something similar with RH:

    August/September Europe

    October/November North America

    December South America

    Februar/March Australia and Asia

And with a bit of luck South Africa at the end.

  6. From what I can see, the majority of people disagreeing with you are non-Brits in fact. Bigger doesn't equal more important, or I guess we'd all be following Russia or China's lead when it comes to music trends. Oh and never, ever quote a rag like Billboard when reporting "facts".

Anyway, the last time The Brits were in any way relevant, was when old Jacko's messiah act was stage invaded by a bare arse.

How do you know where people disagreing are from?

Most people here don't have their locations revealed on their profiles...

beside some Aztecan Telenovela fans from El Salvador.

Oh, and never ever tell me what to do before not actually

    checking the facts yourself.

The info found on the rag magazine comes from IFPI.

Or is now even IFPI not reliable because they claim

facts that don't fit with your reality?

But I'll lay this argument to rest now.

Judgind by some rather nasty comments before

it's clear some Anglos don't like beig told that

their Island isn't the epicentre of the world.

I'm sure the Chinese and Russians agree.

  7. Oh dear... somebody did unleash the British bulldogs...

I was making a statement based on facts reported by Some Medias like Billboard (see link in original post).

If some people (Anglos?) feel "their status" or whatever is threatend because their nation has become second league then that's another story.

The fact remains: Germany abd Japan are bigger markets than the Uk, therefore more important.

    Now sit doggy!

ps: Yes i know El Salvador. it's basically the spanish speaking extension of the USA. Right? lol

  8. Actually, Madonna will always have bigger crowd on her concerts in the UK and having successful album in the UK is much more important than having successful album in Germany or Japan. United Kingdom is the cradle of pop music.

Check out The MDNA Tour numbers:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_MDNA_Tour#Shows

Then please also check the Sticky and Sweet numbers while you're at it. More audiences/revenues in Germany than uk.

Plus adding Switzerland and Austria, where many

Germans from South Germany attend concerts,

because those 2 countries are closer.

As a matter of fact, Even France and Italy

are more important than the Uk if we look at it this way.

And please explain why a succesful album in the Uk is more important than other places.

    Anglosaxon delusions of grandeur much?

  9. That doesn't mean anything.

Here in Europe the tv also transmits Latin American

telemovelas. That doesnt mean that Latin America

    is important per se.

I was refering to actual music sales,

and as a matter of fact the UK is no. 4 market. After the US (1), Japan (2) and... sorry but yes: Germany (3).

But my actual point in my original post was that

the real important issue for Madonna

is where she has the biggest audiances at her tours. And the Uk has become a small market for her.

My point was she should do promotion in countries

where she later will have large crowds at her shows. As concert revenue will be much higher

    than the album sales.

Oh btw... considering even you in Latin America know such a lame non-event

like the Bambi awards it can't be that unknown after all.

Bur Brit Awards are famous here in Latin America-TNT transmited that award every single year ...its an important award , while nobody knows what are Bambi Awards ,

    just saying

Uk is still the second most important market , as well really its more impotant to get a n1 in Uk , than in Germany
