  1. Beyonce's a sham, and anytime I try to vocalize my opinion on her, I get shut out by anyone and everyone around me. I HATE Beyonce, she's bland and tired.

I also hate how she constantly claims to be a feminist. Yes, a HUGE part of feminism is the ability to express your sexuality, but thats not the only thing. What about education, free speech, and empowering women in other ways besides sex? All of Beyonce's songs are about sleeping with Jay Z, or how she's "bad". That isn't feminism, and just because you flash the word for 5 seconds in pink letters during your VMA performance, doesn't make you a feminist. I really wish someone would stop her already. The hype she receives is so blown out of proportion. She really hasn't done anything legendary or helpful to the world.

  2. that was the genius of having Stuart do most of the album (he remixed the B&A and Mirwais tracks as well didn't he?), and then be musical director: we got the strongest sonically cohesive era, which combined with amazing, simple styling, makes Confessions so powerful. In reality it wasn't all that, but the full, across the board, cultural assault of it all makes it so much more than the sum of its parts.

Yes! That's exactly what I was trying to get out, thank you. It's kinda like William Orbit and Ray of Light if you think about it. Her albums really shine when she picks one consistent producer for her projects. They're more solid overall. (Not saying her albums with multiple producers aren't great). Bedtime Stories was able to pull off having multiple producers flawlessly, and it looks like Rebel Heart is following in it's footsteps.

  3. I just love how the Confessions tour was so consistent in it's sound and didn't waver off into unnecessary territory unless it was warranted. For example, I HATE the new version of Open Your Heart that was performed on MDNA, but I love remixes like this. That version of OYH was so off and just terrible, even though she had good intentions, it wasn't my favorite. I know some of you like it though.

I wish I had gone to this tour, it seems as though it was the ultimate disco dance party. :Disco_Ball:

  4. So I really need help!!! I went to go get my tickets and the interactive seating chart isnt there. The only option is for them to pick my seats for me, which I do NOT WANT. Does anybody have any idea why the seating map isnt there for the Atlanta show on 9/2?

  5. My friend loves this one. We will be in the car and listening to the first disc and then he will be like, "Hand me the second one!!!".

I don't NOT like it, but its certainly not one of my faves.

It's crazy how subjective music taste is though, what you might think is shit, I might worship.

  6. I agree with the part about not being able to wait to find out.. I'll probably crack and look at the setlist the night before.

I don't really like the choir idea. It's kinda cheesy to me. I want Madonna front and center with amazing background dancers and wonderful theatrics.

Not a women's choir singing in the back.

  7. I haven't been to any, but I am going to the Rebel Heart one in September. I'm so young, S&S was going on when I was like 9... I was like 13 when she was doing MDNA, and was a casual fan, so I didn't even consider seeing it.

To those of you that have seen them all.. I burn with jealousy and wish I was alive. LOL.

  8. So, I was wondering who was going to the Atlanta show?? I live in Augusta, and go to Atlanta pretty often to see musicians. I love the Philips Arena and can't wait to see these new songs come to life.

Admittedly, this is my first Madonna show. I didn't start becoming a fan until around when MDNA was released and the MDNA Tour was kinda out of my reach when I found out it was coming here.

As a newbie, what should I expect from a Madonna concert? (e.g. The type of people who will be there, how long Madonna takes to come out on stage, how long they run)

I honestly could not be more excited, I'm chewing my nails just thinking about it.
