Um I love Nicki Minaj. I love her collabs with Madonna especially Bitch I'm madonna and actually listen to Nicki on Spotify. I don't care if she releases the first single with Nicki but after two previous singles with her I rather have her just on the album. There's no box putting.

Please think before you speak next time.

I am thinking before I speak.  Take your own advice and stop the bitching about an artist's choices.

On the bright side Ariana's new single features Nicki Minaj so I doubt that Madonna first single would as well if it's coming "soon".   We basically knew that but that one fake poster kept trying to say Nicki was on the first single.

Why is a Madonna song without Nicki a "bright side"?  Stop putting the Queen in a box.  Record your own album and release your own singles.  Recentlt, Madonna was very clear on her thoughts of "fans" like you.

That's not the point. There WAS major buzz about what was happening that week among the fan community and beyond. This very forum was crashing every 2 minutes due to the numbers of people here (and that hasn't happened in many years)  I for one didn't believe (or want) a surprise first single just thrown out there but I did believe it was the start of creating some hype around the upcoming era... then nothing. Even if it's just about creating anticipation among her own fanbase, and even ex-fanbase, that's what we're talking about. Instead we're back to square one. But as has been said, there IS NO team or marketing or PR machine behind Madonna anymore anyway so...oh well.

We are not back to square one.  We got a snippet and we are closer to "#soon".  All will be well.

Oh Lord.... here we go again.... blaming Guy Oseary for Madonna not getting 13 more number one songs on some fucked up chart 35 years in to a very successful and unrivaled career.  Maybe Guy understands the business very well and helped make very good decisions.  This is not 1985 1995 or even 2005.  The industry has changed and M's brand evolved.

Why do supposed Madonna fans not want her to express her true thoughts and include her friends and influences on her records?  I love every Madonna era because they are all genuine.  Stop trying to put Madonna in a box.  She's "not your bitch.... don't  put your shit on [her]." #unapologetic

Once she shoots the album artwork we know we are only 3-4 months from release.

She shot MDNA's in early December 2011 (Album late March 2012)

Rebel Hearts in early November 2014 (Album early March 2015)

So maybe next month or in July she will shoot the artwork for a Sept-Nov release!

Oh & I am sure the album will be titled "MAGIC" which is a simple but pretty cool title!:inlove:

How do we know that she hasn't done the album shoot yet?  The era seems very secretive compared to the others.

    Don't worry Lucky Star One.

When you think of it,  all of us on the forum are major Madonna fans and we all have different tastes in her music, albums, certain looks etc.   Never worry about someone else's different opinion before you have heard it yourself.  Taste in music is always subjective.

    This....  amen....

I wouldn’t mind her doing a residency tour either, like Björk did.  Maybe in like 8-12 cities worldwide.  She needs to build demand back up as her live revenues have been declining.  This is a way to do that, but the show would have to be spectacular.  Then she could do a large scale tour for the next album.

Madonna's live revenues are not "declining".  She just doesn't do as many shows as she has been focussed on her children.  Still a huge act... maybe the biggest... Madonna is doing just fine on the road.

  10. 1. Ray of Light-Power of Good-bye, Frozen, Ray of Light, Nothing Really Matters, Skin

    2. American Life- Love Profusion, X-Static Process, Easy Ride, Intervention, Nothing Fails

    3. Rebel Heart- Devil Pray, Living for Love, Joan of Arc (Acoustic), Messiah, Borrowed Time, Beautiful Scars, Ghosttown

  11. WTG is here to stay. She explained that someone did not turn her mic on in Philly. That was the glitch. Early start. Unbelievable, live vocals. The choreography was way better than any of the periscope videos. The crowd was crazy. Very diverse. A lot of M love. I met a 95 year old dressed as Material Girl. She was adorable. M- was so happpy. David was awesome. So special to see Madonna and child. David made the night very specisl. True Blue and Wtg were my favorite moments. Unapologetic Bitch and Devil Pray were excellent. And Rebel Heart was off of the chain. S.E.X. can go. She made those statements long ago and better but the rest of the show was over the top phenomenal. If I were to change anything, I would only change the sex interlude (with almost anything) and add Like a Prayer and one more classic (my be Hung Up) before Holiday just to add to the finale. Awesome show. It really was all about the music...and the music was grand. As a side note...nothing but love for M all over the city. Boston people of all demographics seem to really adore her.

  12. I agree that there is a lot of negativity here as of late. The show is pretty phenomenal and people are focused on a hairdo that they do not care for, a catalog omission, missing a choreography step or the persistent bashing of previous work as commentary on the new tour. Can't we just reflect for even a moment that we have a nearly 35 year relationship with M-. This work is far superior to any artist with that longevity. I too was baffled that M- chose La Vie en Rose over a piece from her massive back catalog but her performance was so touching. She has such a healthy balance of music, showmanship and controversy this time around. I rather enjoy her "singing" at a concert even at the sacrifice of the heavier dance routines. Rebel Heart has been a great era both in artistry and substance. Let's give M- a little credit here.

  13. First and foremost, everybody takes a bad picture. These are bad pics, perhaps even altered to be bad. I have seen her looking flawless on live TV. She is a beautiful woman. I believe that these pictures could even be altered to purposely make M look bad. Secondly, Madonna is an artist. Stop being so fucking judgmental and see the art. Hear the message. People drive me crazy with their constant criticism. Realize that Hollywood and porn are all fake. 20 year-olds are airbrushed. Let Madonna get away with an off photo shoot. Jesus Christ.
