I am sure Streisand is 100% involved in her work, no doubt of this. She does concerts, documentaries for Netflix, promo for this and I am sure she is involved in the songs' creation. Not just singing them. I don't want to discredit M by talking about Streisand. All I want to say is that you can do it even when your way older than M. Somebody from here told me that M has 4 years gaps between albums because she is older now. Well, look, it's not a rule.

Streisand sings other people's songs, lots of them  And standing on a stage, singing someone else's songs is not  what Madonna does.  M could put out standards albums every two years... thank goodness she doesn't.  That is not M. And M is a mother first and that is good.  No Mommy Dearest remake.

She keeps releasing new albums every 2 years... She's way older than M. She started tot record this album later than M, this year. Good on her! That's what I call an artist 100% dedicated to her music.

Does she actually write and produce these albums or just sing pretty on them and how many children under the age of 18 does Ms. Streisand have?  Every artist that works with M comments that she is the most involved artist that they work with and Madonna does have four children under the age age of eighteen and for years had six.  Streisand's concerts and promotion  are also far less work.

Because before she was doing a concert.  People paying to see her perform - what she is celebrated and famous for.  Artists performing concerts for charity or giving their time performing at a charity concert has always happened.

Riding horses in Portugal ( her personal life ) and previewing parties for her new album is going down another path.  Others won't agree but just the way I feel about it.

She is being sacrificial.  She gets nothing out of the deal so what is the deal?  Madonna cannot even be charitable without being criticized on a fan site.  Geez!

Bieniek is a well known and established artist who has done plenty of commercial works internationally. Some of you thinking he's some nobody who hates the mainstream.....

With that being said, he's an ass for posting their conversation publicly, although I can see why he's turnt off by Guy(or M)'s approach. You don't just ask an artist to send you thoughts and sketches to "see if things will work out", it all just sounds like the same ol' stingy strategy that her team has been pulling since she left Warner. Write him a check for conceptual design first and foremost.

He shared a very small piece of the conversation... probably the part that he thought made him look a certain way.  He is an asshole and as another person on this forum put it, a "one trick pony".

You know fine well that Madonna goes on holiday at the same time every year, that she goes away to celebrate her own birthday and her kids' birthdays, that they take priority during their school holidays. So it makes pefect sense that she took a break and is now 'going back to work'.

    Feb/March release bishes.

Unfortunately, there just isn't evidence to support or dismiss any timetable.

she used to release between albums singles and movie songs, now where are they?

She has been focused on her kids.  We would have probably got a few placeholders without the twins but that is not what happened. She has been a great mom though.  Kudos for her.

    i have a question though.

do u guys think her new 3-4 year term of releasing new music will hurt affect and lose her fans? this is her first time having a long term without new stuff.

for exampe, x tina used to release her new stuff every 4 year term, and all her fans had totally disppeared and been turned into ashes. no one buys her.

Nah.... I really believe that Madonna is a different kinda star.  There is definitely room for a major celebration among the general population with the right record.  Her recent music has been very good and the reviews have been mostly positive but most people do not know that the material even exists.  Madonna just needs a spotlight and she will shine again amongst the general population.

How does any ones comments effect you? I love Britney and they make fun of her all the time. I put on my big boy pants and get over it. Theres always ATRL for you. Which I suspect you are on.

Agreed.  You have to have thick skin on any blog site.  It seems to bring out the worst in people.  I do think that M has a more cantankerous crowd than most. A lot of generations with a lot of dissidence.  People really should bring a bit more humility and respect in here but it is not gonna happen.  Truly, the behavior in here is the antithesis to anything Madonna but it is what we are provided.

To assume this and take it for granted at this stage of her career would absolutely and unequivocally be the biggest fucking possible mistake Madonna could make. The hardcore fans, quite frankly, are the only ones that truly give a shit anymore and the numbers of them are dwindling. Showing disregard for her hardcore fans  would totally spell the end of the road. Stupid.

Jesus Christo..... Michael Jackson was a child molester and died of an overdose and retained his legend status.  Prince did absolutely nothing noticeable for the last 20 years of his life and is still a legend.  Elton John's music has sucked for nearly thirty years and is still a legend.  Aretha Franklin had a star studded funeral and is revered and hasn't  had a top ten song since when?  Legend... Cher's music for the last fifteen years makes your ears bleed and she is a legend.  Whitney was a bigger mess than most as was George Michael and both are legends... When was Bowie's last hit?  Legend...  stop being so fucking dramatic.  The general public really loves Madonna even if they do not know that she made records after the Music album...  maybe Ray of Light.  Madonna is a legend.  The fact that we are discussing relevance after 36 years is the final decree on the subject.  LEGEND

Huh? You mean like you would've preferred her to release songs like I Love New York & Candy Shop as singles?

Well... I was thinking more like Gang Bang, Love Spent, I'm a Sinner and Falling Free.... or maybe Like It or Not, isaac, and Let It Will Be... or Rebel Heart, Joan of Arc, Holy Water and Devil Pray.  I am cool with Candy Shop too but imagine Devil Wouldn't Recognize You.... Madonna's recent releases were packed with great material.

I think this could be the case too.

I strongly doubt its the lead single - there's no way a label would let so much of the song be premiered in May and it still not be released 4 months later. The fact that she's referenced Beautiful Game a few times makes me think it will have a significant place on the album, maybe as the intro or outro to the album.

I'd love the idea of a concept album that starts with addressing the state of the world/society, possibly political, being a rebel etc, (Beautiful Game) into escapism themes (Confessions style, 'disco god') which also could explain the Starrah connection (escapism can mean light pop music) then into the more introspective/experimental tracks with a spiritual/tribal theme ('Magic', Portugal influence).

Preferably sequenced/blended like Confessions was... all with a visual album too, thanks!

Madonna should go with her instincts and release the songs with the message that she wants to project.  Her singles have been hijacked by the industry since the Music album and it is time for those around her to find a stadium and have all of the seats.  A bold and personal decision beats manufactured, popstar marketing any day of the week.  The formula approach is not working so M should just blow our minds with creativity instead.  #teambeautifulgame

    the hair is ok
but she better change that for the new album because we want something exciting and N.E.W (never seen before)
plus she should get rid of her bags under the eyes :((((
her face skin is flawless but the bags under the eyes are killing it for me

WTF is wrong with you?  Really?

This. A solid album and first single still matters.

Tell that to U2, Springsteen, Cher or even Britany.  People will always go see Madonna, with or without a new album. M's back catalog alone would carry ticket sales for the remainder of her career.  She simply has a catalog to die for.

Like everyone here, I wish the album could be released very #soon this year, but let's face it, her team's priority is a 2019 tour. The album is just a way to promote the tour, which brings more revenues.

Also, even if the album is ready or almost ready, M and her team may prefer spending their time preparing the tour than promoting a new album that wouldn't serve concert ticket sales.

Madonna has skipped touring on albums before.  Like a Prayer, Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light come to mind. Her tickets always sell and often, the average ticket purchaser, is not even aware of her most recent work.  I have sat next to these people at many a concert.  Studio albums give Madonna tour material, not a mandate.
