This record is everything Madonna is: there is Erotica Madonna, Confessions Madonna, Ray of Light Madonna, True Blue Madonna.
It encompasses all that she is, her work, her ideas, her themes.
It's not disjointed, it's varied and I have never enjoyed a Madonna album as much.
-
Let's say she's helped me grow.
-
Great! Now does anyone read Japanese?
-
I dont think i've ever listened to a Madonna album as much as I have listened to Rebel Heart.
It's like the soundtrack to my life.
-
The Tour is having an effect and people seem to be discovering this album.
As of Wednesday morning, it is up to #24 on Canadian Itunes.
Sweet!

Rebel Heart
American Life
Erotica

i think ill have to write something later! everyone was singig and even the rebel heart songs and my heart sank when she floated away! gawd i love her!
Yeah, for a record that "didnt sell", at the Montreal show, ALOT of people were singing to Devil Pray, Rebel Heart, Holy Water, Unapologetic Bitch, HeartBreakCity.
I dont think sales figures actually reflect the reality of how many people own an album.
I was pleasantly surprised.

The show just made me love the album even more.
I get chills when I listen to the album version of Rebel Heart now and I get why she went with that mix for the album.
It is such a powerful song, and completely encompasses who she is.
Frank Sinatra had "My Way"; Madonna's got "Rebel Heart".
I also can't get enough of "Holy Water" now.
It's a badass little song.
I never paid too much attention to "Messiah", but now have renewed interest in it and listen to it with a new set of ears.

She looks gorgeous with that hair!
-
where's Janet?
Janet's been out of the picture for quite some time now.
-
If she dances and lipsyncs, she gets dumped on.
If she stands there and sings live, she gets dumped on.
People are so weird.
Id rather hear her sing.
She has a beautiful, strong voice in this show.
And for having seen it, I can tell you she dances in almost every number,
She also knows she is on the road for the next 6-7 months.
I think she is pacing herself and being careful not to repeat MDNA and completely wear herself out.
She's completely adorable on this tour.
And the show is about love and romance and hope.
Itll make you believe in love again.

Thanks, Magodonna!!!
I really appreciate it.

Does anyone have a download link to that Dens54 remix of Like a Virgin?
Not a youtube rip, but his actual mix.
Id appreciate it.

Does anybody have a proper download link to that Dens54 mix of Like a Virgin?
And not just a youtube rip.

Posting this here too, I guess.
Highlights:
Iconic....the murdering of icons in a cage, but Madonna fights and escapes hers. Brilliant.
Holy Water....people were gasping! It kicked ass, and was brilliantly offensive through and through. We laughed our asses off.
HeartBreakCity/Love Dont Live Here Anymore...powerful.
Music...just wow!
Holiday
La Vie En Rose
Rebel Heart
Living For Love....showing people how to rule WITH a cape.
Bitch Im Madonna....done Samurai-style was unexpected.
Deeper and Deeper...a beefed up album version. So energetic!
The abundance of 80's hits is a smart contrast to the Rebel Heart tracks as they have alot in common with who Madonna was then and how art was created and what she has come to be today. Full circle, so to speak.
It starts strong, goes trippy during the Gypsy section (just go with it) and ends fun.
People seemed to enjoy the new stuff very much.
Rebel Heart with the fan art was moving.
-
Just the visuals, and the dancing. It was like an acid trip.

I dont know where you guys are getting this.
I have high-quality Pioneer headphones and listen to WAV files, and they sound perfectly fine.
No distorsion at all.
There are so many little details I still discover on every listen.
I just love this album so much!
-
I fixed the part in the last chorus where you here the "now..." from the demo.
Dont know if it's allowed to post.
Let me know what you think.

The file is in Wav, cd-rip.

Whats the difference in the Kleinenberg Rebitch?
-
It'd be nice if we got Devil Pray with a video, and Rebel Heart with the live performance as the video.
With a 25-track album, it would suck not to get at least a couple of more singles.
I'd personally love HeartBreakCity as a single.
-
There's something kind of endearing about him.
-
Whenever this song ends I just think to myself...but graffiti is illegal Madonna
Exactly.
She's saying that graffiti DOES change stuff.
-
That song is all neon lights and Rubik's cubes.
80's beats with cool lyrics about being yourself without compromise.
Love it!
*RUMOR* Rebel Heart Video??

And release a bunch of mixes for the track.
Y'all know which mix we'd love officially see the light of day.
And a mix by Blood Diamonds, Disclosure or something.
