This shit is all over the press in my country. Ugh!
I love when the source of these media outlets is an anonymous source from another media outlet.
-
Yep! Although I'm so glad to have the various demos and it was an incredible experience, it would have been better if they didn't leak, at least not until after the album came out. I would pick the demo version of Rebel Heart as the lead single with an epic video. I think that song was her best chance at a bona fide hit.
Oh, and Rebel Heart should have been a double album, featuring more of the songs that didn't make the cut.
HOWEVER, I will say that, even without these changes, this has absolutely been my favorite and most beloved era ever, or at least since Erotica. I have never felt more emotionally connected to Madonna and her music.
This! Every word, minus the Erotica reference.

^ Slowing down a bit. It's the perfect time for the fourth video.

Wow, amazing! And so many songs missing! Imagine what they could do with a 10 minutes megamix!

She's gonna change the 80s medley to a 8 minute remix of Spanish Lesson (with elements of Candy Shop)
I must say I like Spanish Lesson, but that made me laugh out loud.

Yeah, it's a catchy song. But single material? And lead single? This is Madonna we're talking about. It's a shame she thought the most comercial tracks should be the singles, since radio doesn't care anymore. Maybe she learned a lesson or two with BIM.
The video is great, though.

I really liked Holy Water, but now I love it! With such an iconic performance, the song just went to another level.

I like this setlist, but I have a bad feeling that she will replace burning up with a hung up because in the past both received guitar re-invention
I hope you're wrong. By the same logic, she could also perform Ray of Light. Hope she sticks with Burning Up.
Since Holiday is being considered an encore, maybe she will replace that one.

I still listen to Rebel Heart everyday. With so many stellar tracks, It confess this was kind of negleted until recently. I mean, I always loved it, but I was consumed with other songs. Now it's one of my most played and one of Rebel Heart's best. Very happy that it's being performed on the tour.

depends on the ticket outlet, if its ticket master i was able to select my seat for the Quebec show. In Montreal it was sold though evenko which is a shitty site and can't select anything, I was only able to select "floor" and cross my fingers i was assigned a good seat.
Thanks! It's Ticket Master, but i'm unable do select a seat. That sucks. I was just simulating the purchase, since I'm waiting for a friend who doens't know yet if he's able to go with me.

So... I finaly made a deal with my boss and now I have the chance to travel to Barcelona in order to see the Rebel Heart Tour. But I need your help. I want floor tickets, but am I able to choose where I wanna be? You guys are discussing the best view (near the heart, etc) but I don't think I can choose that when I'm buying the ticket.
Sorry I'm such a noob, but I really need some help.
If all goes well I'm traveling from Portugal to Barcelona to witness this amazing show!

I can't! @ everything! All those faces and expressions.

listening to Born This Way on Tidal is so good, the quality is great, you can literally hear Express Yourself playing in the background.

Everybody knows it wasn't a stunt, only stupid people. Let's not give clicks to daily fail. They have pure hatred towards women. It's basically Fox News!
I was going to write that we should not provide the links to such articles, just post the content. We should not give them what they want.

Well, she's trending all over the world, but I'm surprised she's trending in Portugal. She didn't when she performed at the Grammys.

I couldn't get the stream to work so I kept refreshing the official viewing thread to get gifs and read the first reactions until a video would be posted. When I read someone say "noooooooooo" and "She fell OMG," I knew it wasnt just a slip. It was odd and I couldnt watch it anywhere and just kept hitting refresh to get as much info as possible. I freaked out just by everyone else freaking out and not seeing a thing.
I was extremely nervous when I first saw the video because I knew what happened and when it was coming. Mind you, I already cried a little bit just with this knowledge. When I got to the lyric when the yank happened I turned it off, lit a cig and cried. Im still abit emotional thinking about it. But I watched the fall and to me at first viewing it looked like she was yanked down from a 20 foot platform and dragged for miles, in slow motion. I stopped the video again and had to walk away and just breathe. And cry. Like blubbering mess cry...embarassing I know. But Madonna to me is the one constant thing, the anchor, that Ive had to look up to, to believe in, to rely on, my entire life and Im 38. Its just shocking to see, thats all. I just love her.
I did finally watch the whole video through, a few times, after the initial shock wore off, and just like the rest of you I had that cathardic experience. I just dont think I could watch this one on repeat.
Got tears in my eyes after reading your post.

why tf is the man in the left corner looking at his phone when the most iconic and significant female artist of all time is in his presence!!!!!
He's registering that iconic moment with his phone.
-
I'm stunned! This is her best photo in many, many years!
-
Wow, I was at work as M performed, so I just saw this. It's so sad but she just put herself toguether in a few seconds. Impressive!
The singing was not near as good as in the Grammys, but that is understandable. She fell so bad, during an important live performance and with no time to recover. Still, she did. What a pro!
-
Wow, so many people on this thread worried about how some songs should not be a part of Rebel Heart just because of review scores. It seems Madonna doesn't care, she had a huge number of tracks to sell an album without the bitch and the sex songs.
It's like I'm suddenly in a Mariah's forum...
People are way too conservative, narrow-minded and hipocrate. I'm glad Madonna stays true to some fundamental values while always evolving.

"Best Night" sounds like a Timbaland production.....anyone agree? It reminds me of those songs he used to produce for Aaliyah and it has a mid-90s feel to it.
That's what I thought when I heard the track! It remindes me of his mid/late 90's productions. Aaliyah and others come to mind.
