Not impressed with it. Too much been there and done that going on.

Fuck...The first time I actually cave in and listen to demos, it completely ruins the experience. Never again. I prefer a majority of the demos over the final versions. Silver lining is that I can just put together my "own" version of this album using a combination of the final version and the demos.
I feel the exact same way. I will never again listen to leaked demos before an album is released. I like the demos so much more than the final product. It's so disappointing.

Don't know if this has been posted, but someone over at Popjustice created a hypothetical "Art For Freedom EP" as companion to Rebel Heart and suggested it could potentially look like this:
1. Revolution
2. Graffiti Heart
3. God Is Love
4. Borrowed Time (Acoustic Version)
5. Freedom
6. Rebel Heart (Acoustic Version)
It Would be so brilliant! Perhaps an acoustic version of Grafitti Heart given it might make the Deluxe...
I really hope not. There are still better songs than those that she could put on that super deluxe version.

Inside Out! I'm very disappointed that a couple of really great songs didn't make the cut but at least...at the VERY LEAST...Inside Out made it! That song is beyond fabulous!
-
Saw the listing. Very disappointed Beautiful Scars didn't make it. So what does everyone know about the supposed 6 tracks on the deluxe edition. Is it confirmed to be true? If so maybe it'll make that listing.
-
Just saw the track listing. Very disappointed...two very great songs didn't make it.

I admit I wondered if Madonna herself did it as well, but she wouldn't allow that many of them to leak. But it is weird that the FBI can't seem to solve this mystery in this day and age.

Joan of Arc
I'd support that choice as the second single.

It's perfection. No wait, no it isn't. You didn't include Beautiful Scars on it.

I hope very little of Joan of Arc changes. That song is amazing as it is.
-
After all this time, they still don't know who stole this music from her and leaked it. In this day and age? That's a little strange.

I wish to God she'd post one of Jesus with the wires. I'm sorry but people are stupid as fuck. She is honoring her heroes you motherfucking media fuck fools.
I'm pretty sure she did. It was one of the first she did.
Edit: I saw where others had reported the Jesus with the wires as well.

Oh brother. We're back on this? I thought the separation of demo/non-demo threads put a stop to the ridiculous bickering over this. Stop judging other fans for listening or not listening. Listening is not the same thing as stealing or spreading. And stop equating listening to disrespecting Madonna. She's not your mother. She's a fucking pop singer. Get a grip and some perspective.
Nicely put! I agree completely!

Wow, AC/DC, U2, and Madonna. Way to get the kids to watch.
lol! Love it!
-
What about Supernatural? That one was probably her first post fame reggae influenced track.
You think Supernatural is a reggae track? I don't! Love that song so much but it just sounds like a haunted melody.

Top 3
1 Wash All Over Me
2 Joan Of Arc
3 Inside Out
Definitely agree with your top 3!

Simple facts:
Madonna did not have a single leak when she was managed by Freddy ( and probably has just as much demos from that period...drool...
Shakira has had no leaks of her upcoming album, also managed by Freddy ( but I think this might just be a simple case no one gives a ahit ).
The point is Shakiras new album will slay Madonnas because it has had no leaks.
I definitely think Freddy was a better manager.
As for the new stuff on the album, I was referring to her rushing and writing new songs and half assing it all the way just so none of these demos that people have heard make it onto the record. Just a fear. Some of these demo songs are kick ass and she better stick to the course and polish them and get them out there.
-
This got me to thinking, what if none of those songs appear on the album? And now she's rushing through new stuff and half-assing it again and it all turns to crap. This could end up being horrible.
-
Such a shame about Two Steps Behind Me...such a shame. That song is glorious.
-
Have the leaks damaged the album? It's not really released yet so we don't really know. I'd lean toward it hasn't. The only thing they have done is piss Madonna off and let fans get an early glimpse of these songs.
-
Guy clearly stated that TSBM won't be on the album and that's it not about Caca
That's unfortunate, it really is. It's a great song. But I can understand why because people would accuse her of carrying on with this supposed feud and not letting it go. Such a shame...again it's one of the better songs I've heard.
-
It's a good track and there's serious denial that this is about Gaga. Come on, the piano and the tone she's singing in the verses gives it away that this is about Gaga.
True. It can't be denied. I don't see why she would record such a song and not realize that if people heard the song they would immediately think of LG and the supposed rivalry between the two. But honestly though, this song is so good and I hope Madonna keeps with her current rebel nature and puts it on the album to spite the entire situation. The song is simply too good to be dismissed so easily.
-
Isn't the FBI working on this? This is their jurisdiction right? Whoever is working on it, I know it's not that difficult to find out where the leaks are coming from in this day and age. It surely can't be...right? Yet it continues to happen and nothing seems to be done about it. What the hell is going on?
-
The more I've listened to Two Steps Behind Me, I say screw what Gaga and her munster fans think! That song is GOOD and should be included on the album. Come on Madonna get that one out there! It's too good to be ignored.

This song is my favorite. I'm love it so much. I like the demo and I like the final version of it as well. This is the type of music Madonna should be making. I'm so proud of her for making this very sweet song.
