Here in Belgium , the French speaking press is saying she insulted the islamists with the word 'motherfuckers ' . Stupid uninformed journalists ! She said to us something like ; " We won't let them cancel a show, right , motherfuckers ? " She was of course ironically talking to us with the same words she'd been using for decades ....

Yay I love what he said in the end.
To this day, you still read people saying that Madonna doesn't write her own stuff. Like wtf. She's written the vast majority of her songs since her debut album. People try so hard to limit Madonna as a mere superficial pop star and will never give her credit as someone who actually is a creative person and is involved with every step of the artistic process.
I think true creativity seems effortless - hence, those people with no creative bones in their body dismissing her talent. It's like someone looking at a Picasso in a gallery and exclaiming 'I could paint that!'. Really?

I'm in the minority here. I think most of the TIC versions suck. No raw or organic elements in them at all..
TIC Lucky Star - I liked the guitar effect revamp. That was an improvement.
TIC Holiday - The beginning bongos are superfluous. Madonna album versions is better.
TIC Into The Groove - Suck my ass and eat my shit. Again with the bongos! Horrible! The original is corporeal, crude and HARD!
TIC Express Yourself is good. The LAP version is better. Apples and Oranges on that one.
TIC Vogue: Again, the "what are you looking at" is not needed. IB version is better.
TIC Borderline - The sound is muted and that fucking cow bell annoys the hell out of me

Also, on TIC the more emotional outo for Open Your Heart is gone.
