Well said. I will say it again - I absolutely loved that "moment".It's hard to articulate it. Maybe it's not what she did, but how she did it. There was a vibe, in addition to the element of surprise. If there are to be gay (+others) weddings on live TV, Madonna better be there! But, not just that. A pop star needs to be in-and-of the moment in the zeitgeist to be relevant, and her popping up like that, even for a few moments, made everything seems more, for lack of a better term, "legitimate."

LAP and LFL aren't similar. At all. The lyrics, the sound, her singing, the choirs - all very different. To call LFL a dumb wannabe and reductive is just stupid.Dump that reductive Like A Prayer-wannabe that goes by the name Living For Love (I mean, honestly, been there, done that) But, please, for the love of god, please no more choirs.
And I can live with few more choir extravaganzas. Bring it up!!

The six tracks she released are finished and they sound perfect. Do you think she would ruin her discography with unfisnihed songs? I don't think so. She is a perfectionist and couldn't live with that.About the Guy's interview: it's very confusing. I had to read some of the comments few times because they didn't make any sense. I do hope they catch the person(s) who is behind the leaks.

It's beautiful. First I didn't like it because I was so mesmerized by the deluxe version. And I didn't know either that the glass was part of the shoot. I always thought it was an effect added later.

This will be amazing for sure. She knows how to do Grammys in style. I mean, last year alone was incredible and she was just visiting the stage <3
MNEK (remember when Madonna told about a LFL remix that will have MNEK's vocals?) and Alicia Keys are both nominees so it's pretty safe to assume that we will see Alicia playing the piano and MNEK singing with Madge.
It will be glorious.

But I'm always under the impression people consider it 2 be somewhat of a flop...whereas in my
euro-universe the song was EVERYWHERE...u know those damn hit records u hear when u go grocery
shopping & the ones that are even used in tv programs as a score 4 quirky segments in make over shows and the lot...

I think critics quite like her in recent years. Even MDNA has 64 Metacritic points, which is quite good compared to other pop diva efforts. They used to hate her when she was younger in 80's.
Artpop and Prism have 61, Britney Jean 50 and A.K.A. Only 45.

One album but double-album sequencing. Meaning, tracks 1-9 belong to the "rebel" side, track 10 would be Rebel Heart and tracks 11-19 belong to the "heart" side.
This sounds actually a great idea considering the leaks. Without the leaks I would prefer the double album concept. As long as it has a cohesive sound I'm happy.

I could live without Hard Candy BUT it's still a stellar pop album. I don't like Erotica at all but I do appreciate everything it stands for. I'm not also a fan of LAV album but it's still very iconic pop album.
So even though there are "bad" Madonna albums, I would never call them bad albums per se. There is a difference.
