  1. I wasn't talking about that. I was thinking more about things like a release date, a name or a title.

Okay but you're not the first here, other people already said "She should release the album NOW". It's not something Madonna would do... In fact, she would do the opposite : stick to her plan and do what she wants.

And the fuckers who shared her music illegaly will be the first to complain "Why so few promo?? Why no TV performance?". Because you ruined it, morons...

  2. 'rebel heart' could have easily just been dropped as probably a very successful buzz single.

    No.

A single needs a video, TV promotion and to be part of an album schedule. Rebel Heart had none of that when it leaked, that's why it was not released on Itunes. I think we can trust the Queen of Pop for her release, it will be great. She knows what she's doing, right? :madonna2:

  3. Well then she needs to get back to work and quit mentioning fans and leaks in the same sentence. Further, there's not one fan preventing her from finishing her work. We are not stopping her. Quite the opposite. GO. WORK. I will personally get on my hands and knees and cut her a path than pave it w/ gold if I have to. I'll bring water, a cool towel, breath mints, ANYTHING. Just stay in there and bake.

Put yourself in M's place : she's been working on her new album for months, she clearly wants to produce great music for her fans and the world, she's also working hard on the promo and schedule and... in the same time, fans are selling/leaking full (yet unfinished) songs in her back... Can't we just understand that she's upset at those fans who try make money on her back and/or rush her schedule, while pretending to be her fans?

And by the way, one week ago we were all saying "OMG, these songs and photoshoots are amazing, it's too much, thank you Madonna" and now it's "Go work, stop complaining, you're taking too much time it's all your fault"... Madonna is not our bitch! :sassy:

  4. Still love her, not sure it's wise to point the finger at "THE FANS" though

She blames the fans who sell/buy stolen material, not all her fans...

There's a lot of drama around those comments by the Queen... She's rightly angry at the hackers/sellers/buyers, that's it. She could wish they were dead, I wouldn't care :lmao:

  5. This is the first time she has disappointed me as a person.

From all the people she could have blamed she chose to blame her fans, it's absolutely ridiculous

And the fact that she blamed her fans while posting that picture of her.. It makes it even more ridiculous in my eyes

She doesn't seem to respect her fans

Calm down baby, she didn't blame all her fans, she said :

"I am asking my true fans and supporters who respect me as an artist and a human to not get involved with the purchasing trading or posting of unreleased images or music. I hope and pray we find the source of the leaks soon. Until then i am grateful for any leads or info and even more grateful for your support and loyalty! Please let me finish my work so i can give you my very best!".

  6. Due to leaks online, Madonna cancels her upcoming album.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/14/us/madonna_cancels_album_to_launch_global_chain

Madonna announced in a press release that she cancels her upcoming album due to the recent leaks of two songs and many pictures from past photoshoots. "I can't believe my fans did that to me... They have no respect. I'm heartbroken...".

The 56-year-old singer also announced that, instead of this album, she will launch a global pizza chain called "La Isla Bonita Pizzas". The first pizzeria will open in Washington DC. "Soon", according to the singer.

  7. But we are getting all of this for free! Where does this leaves us? Are we guilty for being exposed to it all over the internet? I never bought a single outtake but God know how many outtakes ive seen on the internet and obviously as a fan i appreciate many of them. We are not guilty for the lack of control within her team. Its unfair for us to be blamed like that.

Sorry but this is big hypocrisy.

It's as if you said "I downloaded movies for free, I'm not to blame because I was exposed to it all over the internet and I didn't pay for it". If you do that, you're as guilty as the guy who put it (movies or songs or unreleased pictures) online.

Don't get me wrong : I'm not an angel myself, but I won't blame an artist for being angry when fans have access to stolen material...

  8. The amount of people here who seem to know exactly what Madonna is thinking, doing and feeling - plus her motives - are staggering. Leaks are not promo. Ask anybody who is not a Madonna fan or don't follow music forums what they think of the leaked songs and they would not have a clue.

If you're talking about me, I didn't say M was behind the leaks, I was just talking about the info given to Drowned and Madonnarama.

Nobody here can say if she or her team leaked the songs on purpose, but I disagree with you on one point : leaks are great promo. Millions of articles...

  9. and she or Guy didn't know that several fan sites posted detailed descriptions of her new demos half a year ago?

    cmon..

Of course they knew : they did it. Madonna confirmed herself the "Joan of Arc" info a few hours after DrownedMadonna published the article about that song. It's promo. I hope some people are not that naive! "OMG, does Madonna know that a camera filmed her with Martin Solveig and MIA in the studio while recording MDNA?". Lol.

But I don't understand why you compare fan sites that were allowed to listen to a few unfinished demos through Skype, and leaks of nearly the full album and pictures... It's not the same.

And Madonna illustrated her criticism of leaks with one picture, it doesn't mean she has discovered that precise leak today... It's only illustration, like the broken Ipod.
