I knew it was offered to Michael Jackson first but apparently that was just the instrumental.

She and Patrick Leonard co-wrote and co-produced the song, and Bruce Gaitsch provided additional songwriting. Sire Records released it as the album's final single on February 25, 1987. The instrumental version of the song was first offered to Michael Jackson before Madonna both accepted it and wrote the lyrics and melody. "

This post alone should merit a ban. A closer look at your account info look reveals you were banned here multiple times years ago. Still a moron and living in Orlando I see tripdastation!  *FLUSH*

Tnks , that was really an ignorant post

This is so true. This song hypnotized me on first listen. It's the only song of my very first listening experience of MX that I actually listened to twice in a row. It's just so unlike anything she's done and yeah.....was the moment I knew the album really is something special, a seminal album.

Many of Madonna's fans were never going to let her age. They were cool with it as long as it didn't actually show.

Enough of all that though. She killed it in those combat boots.

Yes that s true , I hope these kind of people could just leave any forums , I just don t get the reasons why they stay just to bring her down , it s weird to me when people stay in a place where they live in a bitter way , is it masochism or sadism ? What are their priorities in life ?

What’s wrong with people? Madonna is about to be 61 and she’s not super human. Your body goes through changes no matter how healthy you are. It happens to everyone. People’s voices change overtime. You have less stamina. Madonna is doing the unthinkable. Last night’a show was proof of that. She danced, she sang, she brought the theatrics. She went above and beyond. But from now on, there will be limitations. The least we can do is to show this woman, who’s been a machine for 40 years, that we love her and we appreciate her and that we got her back. If you don’t like her artistic choices, FINE, but don’t hate her... time goes by faster than you think. Love her NOW.
