I love your spirit, which we all can understand, because we are all M fans and that is why we are not the same as those idiots who never got her.

But still, regarding the vocals, like many have pointed out, she needs some training at this point. And the voice should be given the most attention when she does her REHEARSALS. Now it's just sad to see fans being like "Oh every performer had A bad night", well she has had too many bad NIGHTS at this point that it is worrisome for her reputation as a performing artist. For how long can we keep blaming the earpiece, the sickness, or whatever possible element we can think of as an excuse? That's a major issue that we simply cannot ignore.

Ignore it ( cause she can sing ) or just follow the reasons why you like her as a performer , of it doesn t male you feel good just be true to yourself and that s it

With Drake performance it was she was too old and too disgusting to see kiss anyone.

With Prince tribute performance it was she is not the appropriate person to do the tribute.

With VMAs the fact she spoke about herself somehow was disrespectful to Aretha Franklin

    Stonewall she has ass implants

    Eurovision she can’t sing

I understand this is simplified and that some folks do not like these performances/appearances based on artistic merit and such. That said, yes, the extreme vitriol and outrage is clearly about something deeper. She’s always had this effect but with outrage culture and social media it’s growing. They want to see her destroyed, cancelled so the outrage police will find the “weakness” wherever they can.

I continue to just find joy, inspiration and a role model in Madonna and her art. I never think reaction/outrage matches the thing being complained about.

    I think there's a marked difference.

Music is one of my favourite M records. I love the different effects on her voice and Mirwais really stretches it and uses it as a funky tunes instrument and it sounds sublime.

But for me the effects on Future are just to robotic and extreme. Even on something like Impressive Instant arguably one of her most futuristic songs form Mirwais thus far, her vocal is futuristic without being robotic.

But it's a matter of taste.

    😉

Some info from a supposed insider at Madonna-Infinity. Not sure if I believe or not, but posting so its here in this thread for future reference.

"No, the intro is similar to Future Lovers and a hint of spoken Rescue Me. (That might be very subjective). She sings Dark Ballet in a very haunting voice. The arrangement is pretty much the same as the Met Gala performance, but much more dramatic and orchestral with sound effects. Very advant-garde. You disbelievers will stop complaining. This song will shut your mouth for sure. Very interesting production with chopped sinister strings that "stops" abruptly. Very Mirwais. Reminiscent to another fan favourite song he also produced for a movie. 😉 "Dark Ballet" is one of the more multi-dimensional, sonically innovative produced tracks. Lots of piano, violin and dramatic effects.

I've heard she's been using some innovative new studio teqniques creating new sound effects for a more sonically unorthodox mix of effects. A landscape of sound effects to the right and left fields of your speakers."

Can t wait , love everything I ve heard so far about this album....she s an incredible Artist

Many (including celebs in Europe) literally saying it's over, and she's not doing anything. this is the moment she has to show some evidence of her skills, now that the media will pick it up.

at least Mariah had the joke factor. you could tell she didn't hear herself and said so.

the theatre shows will help, but it's months before they start

    The fucks she gives...

This well known (in Italy) Italian TV presenter, DJ and huge music connoisseur, has posted an absolutely brilliant review of Madonna's Eurovision show, talking about the symbolism in the theatrics, the meaning behind all that, praising her hugely, and like many others astonished by the level of horrible vitriol she got - thank you @cocolattee for letting us know!

It's amazing that he completely understood what a huge chunk of Madonna fans clearly did not get at all.

He s an educated mind , I feel not alone

I listened to both and everyone exaggerated. The reaction she got was above and beyond her and her performance. It's safe to say the reaction she got had nothing to do with her. From observing that and just society in general and even posters here, what they think (or don't think) are the real problems, it's safe to say the internet has farmed very weak minded people who can't think for themselves, are easily influenced, paranoid, underdeveloped, and have become malevolent. I keep telling those close to me be prepared for whats to come. The internet has only been around the way it is now for a mere 20 years. Its too early to tell how it affects peoples thought processes. I have theories from what I've seen. But, yeah. be prepared! and mentally strong!

I appreciate your post I m in your place with this analisys , se are lucky to have experienced the presocial humankind scenario and it s interesting and quite scary to witness what s going on ...it s a challenging struggle to have children in this world too .

At Pride? Lord please no but knowing her she will. Lol

She should just sing Vogue, Hung Up, La Isla and slay that way. Not everything has to have a statement.

That s so not M.... sing songs pretending not to know what pride means...

Give the gays a STATEMENT not a drink to get high

Hey, take no offense at all, and I agree with some of what you say, but I have to counter the bold with an argument:  😉

It's not like Madonna was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.  Certainly, she may have not experienced poverty, religious oppression and living in a country that is constantly dodging missiles and and at war, but I don't see why that should keep her from speaking up. Why would it make someone seem "ridiculous" for sticking up for humanity and what they feel is right?  I don't believe it speaking against just a "War".  I think it's about the deeply rooted problems that leads up to and keeps the war going.  The way people are oppressed and constantly dehumanized for religious beliefs and lifestyles, etc.

I see Madonna like a modern day John Lennon or one can say Joan of Arc.  Probably not as active politically as either one was, but she certainly is fighting a similar fight they have been fighting.  Most art reflects what is going on in one's life around them, whether it's obviously painted or hidden with innuendos. Madonna has always fought for humanity and whether she is part of that War or not, she justifiably can say she has experienced oppression or seen it happen before her eyes being she's been around the world quite a many times.  I would think with all the crap thrown at her for even performing and people begging her to back out, she had to say and do something to make it clear where she stands.

Great , educate them...that s what she s born to

I am a fan of Madonna and nobody needs to preach to me about her admirable IDGAF attitude that everyone of us knows too well.

Of course it is her career. Did I ever say it wasn't hers?

NEVER have I said that "she cannot be political the way she wants to" or "she should just sing and dance exactly like this or like that blablabla". Every sane Madonna fan is totally cool with her being bold, brave, provocative and rebellious, this is SELF-EVIDENT hello.

The problem with her Eurovision performance, in our opinion, is not the activism PER SE but the poor execution, what people get was a horrid karaoke version of "Like a Prayer" and sorry we will not force ourselves to find THAT enjoyable. She brought a message for the Palestinian cause? Great. But Madonna is FIRST AND FOREMOST a musical artist, that is how history will primarily remember her for, and sadly the musical aspect of this performance was poor.

As fans, we are allowed to have expectations and to HOPE for things we personally prefer, and as a magnificent artist but also a human being, most of the times Madonna made us happy, and sometimes she misses the mark AND THAT IS OKAY in the whole bigger picture of life. What is so hard to comprehend?

I respect your point of view

I really wonder why some feel the need to drag her so much. just say she was off key and that's it. it's so over the top. almost animalistic and black mirror ish.. girl just gave a performance.. it's not like she's a politician

People are .... They will drag Jesus Christ down if IT was alive ' cause IT would be too much for them to accept ITs longevity .....and anyway M is an EDUENTERTEINER ( a sincere politician ) that s her place in da game , she s created that art language and an *Artist is the one who create a language .
