I would have preferred it in full colour - but I love it nontheless!

Ok, so I pre-ordered, got the six songs - does it make it okay to listen to leaks now?
-
...oh and "Illuminati" is really growing me! Slaying as fuck!
-
Initially, it feels like "Rebel Heart" is a cocktail mix of everything she has done with American Life & Hard Candy but done right! Anyone else think the same?
-
Guys, how exciting is all of this ???!!!
I've just pre-ordered and downloaded my 6 songs. Thanks for the xmas "gift" , Madonna!
-
I adore this song

I voted for that McGovern bitch just to give her more votes

Oh my, what a thread I just have to weigh in... How can I resist? #unapologeticbitch
ARTPOP is a sub-par record. Lady Gaga has fallen from her pop pedestal like a fucking thunderbolt! Everything she does now is contrived and ridiculous. She looks like shit! I had high hopes for her in the beginning to be honest... her first two records were great.
MDNA is far, far better! No contest

I was on the road (from Cape Town to Windhoek, Namibia) for 18 hours today and I didn't even miss anything in the new album thread
Anywho, have to agree with some posters here, the whole leaking/trading thing feels contrived. Could be wrong about that though!

hmm...how revealing... you should b ashamed of yerself!....or is it, sexy self?
Cause I've been sitting back, no chance of falling, hoping that nothing ever blows - no, no!

Wtf is happening?

Elizabeth who? #zerofucksgiven

Worst: MDNA. Hands down. All the mediocre (to not say worse) songs got the attention while the real gems of that album (Love Spent, I'm Addicted, Gang Bang & Masterpiece) got ignored.
Exactly this! And in that order more or less. Love Spent being ignored was criminal!
-
Mine, too
Her catalogue is so vast!

I really like One More Chance, I see why some don't though. It does have this feeling that it should be sung by someone else. Nonetheless I think she carries it off well.
Me too, I love One More Chance. I'd say Revolver is probably her worst single, but I still kinda like it.

Ray of Light is far from flawless, its very dated production wise.
Yeah that's cool if you think so. The title of the thread does include "....in your opinion?"
I love electronic music, so this album to me is a benchmark for mainstream electronic records. I believe it's the mother of all mainstream electronic records, in fact. Queen!
-
Cool topic!
Ray of Light, purely because every song is strong on it's own, the album has consistency and the production is AMAZING (I still marvel at the many layers in the songs through stereo speakers, I sometimes hear songs within the songs!). It packs a real punch to the ears, and the more mellow moments that follow is just bliss. A few sidenotes - It's a highly influential record. The singles were perfectly released. The music videos were visually stunning! Overall it is a majestic work of art that can never be replicated.
Confessions. I like how mnino describes at as the upbeat sister of ROL, it's the disco-ified version and even the weaker, silly lyrics are justified because hey, it's a party not a spirtual lesson right? It's enjoyable, the production is exceedingly good and every song is memorable from open to close. Sometimes when I listend to Confessions I felt like I was tripping in a galaxy far away !
All the other albums have some flaws here & there apart from these two.
-
This is easy.
BEST: Ray of Light - all the singles released were PERFECT, and also the chronology
WORST: MDNA - a solid egg of fuck (the singles!)
-
Ah the year 2000. It was a fantastic year for pop music!
This song reaffirmed my love for Madonna and she looked fucking fantastic!
-
Defintelly "Hung Up".
It's the perfect opener for the non-stop (literally) party that follows suit!
-
Hung Up baby! followed by Drowned World
-
I should probably just mention that Madonna is the most scrobbled artist in my library
REBEL HEART - the new album. 6 songs OUT NOW on iTunes. QUEEN is No. 1 everywhere
