Love that radio 1's Instagram posts are flooded with Madonna fans in the comments
They have been inundated!

Reading the tea leaves here. M listed lots of Madame X personas. The first one was Cha Cha Instructor (Medellín) and the last one is prostitute. Based on the track listing could prostitute be the persona behind I Rise?? . Makes you think about “rising” in a totally different context doesn’t it?
I bet it's faz gostoso with Anitta!

You're welcome. Can you imagine the other divas doing that!

I love how she sits on the floor and watches it on the small screen!

What I’m interested in is if we see Madame X without the eyepatch at some point, in a flashback. I’m assuming she lost her eye in combat or torture. Madame X’s origin story is way more exciting than any Avengers movie.
If you view the Madame X trailer she is seen in the Medellin wedding dress but without the eyepatch and the cha-cha instructor looks slightly different as well.

I could be totally clutching at straws here but I noticed that at the end of the video, there is the sound of birds singing. If you watch the beginning of ' Medellin - behind the scenes , the same birds are heard singing and M is talking about being a cha-cha instructor over a piece of music I do not recognise. I'm thinking this is following Medellin. Has anyone else made this connection?

You're welcome! Yes, it was very rushed. Deserved at least 1 hour.

What a beautiful treatment ! It's both fresh and nostalgic and I don't think I have seen her look more stunning since 'The Power of Goodbye video'. Medellin Magic!

Where can I watch the interview? I missed it.
The moment I started watching the stream the video came up. I was so thrilled, but I'm still curious about the interview.

Seriously, they need to look up the word metaphorical...as though the "being kidnapped and tied to a tree" was in any way literal. So stupid.
Now let's all enjoy the amazing work Madonna put into this project--it's amazing so far--no amount of negative squawking on the internet in comments, forums or reviews is going to change the quality of the actual music/visuals. I know it can be difficult to ignore at times, being that there are so many negative voices against her it would seem, but let's keep focused on what's important...she is still giving us vital and amazing music! That's what it's really all about. Fuck the negative voices and their useless noise.
Yes! Keep the faith!

It's like a video premiere how it was done back in the 80's / 90's and i love it!
And i love that nipple of Maluma...yummie...it's not a still from the video i suppose since there's someone in the background.
It might be an extra in the background

This is a LOOK
She is in a league of her own. Which of her contempoaries has this much innovation and artistry?

From the Lisbon " cabaret singer " footage and the previews / voice over of "Medellin" video it sounds like the project is gonna be semi autobiographical , totally blurring the lines between reality and fiction ....creamy smooth avant garde pop icon goddess
This is what I have been thinking. I'm glad someone else shares the same assumption.

I have the feeling Those clips are just for random entertainment between official album related news. Nothing big or movie like for netflix planned i guess
I think they do fit into a bigger picture, but what that picture is remains a mystery. I believe she has tried to visually capture the Portuguese nightlife and culture that she experienced while living in Lisbon which was the inspiration for this new music.

I hope there is a documentary. There seems to be a lot of footage we're seeing that could very well be part of a documentary. I think most believe if there is one, it will be with NETFLIX which makes sense since we know she visited them last year. Also, Netflix is extremely popular.
Expect the unexpected!

Just when you thought you knew it all! I had thought Madame X had been created for this era, but it was actally a moniker given to her by Martha Graham. On a musical note if that snippet is from Extreme Occident.....why is it only a bonus track? It sounds beautiful.

I agree with you really , just miss those days . Anyway the pr team so far is like it’s 1986 again and I love it , it’s like Christmas everyday waking up to another teaser or snippet and I am loving Medellin . I just have to try get over my obsession with wanting everyone else to hear / see and if I’m honest agree with everything I hear and see . People don’t give her a chance , anyway things are positive and going a million times better than the last two rollouts so let’s enjoy it all together
Yes, you are right. We need to focus on the stuff that is working. The chart situation is what it is, but that should not impede our enjoyment of this brilliant era which has only just begun.

I think it's still the same song with a new title.
