  1. My guess:

    Rebel Heart

    1. Living for Love
    2. Devil Pray
    3. Ghosttown
    4. Unapologetic Bitch
    5. Illuminati
    6. Bitch, I'm Madonna
    7. Messiah 3:39 (3:37)
    8. Joan of Arc 4:04 (4:01)
    9. Wash All Over Me 4:02 (4:33)*
    10. Holy Water 3:34 (3:33) [E]
    11. S.E.X. 3:23 (3:39) [E]**
    12. Heartbreak City 3:58 (4:09) [E]
    13. Iconic 4:25 (4:23)
    14. Rebel Heart 3:56 (4:00)
    15. Body Shop 3:34 / Borrowed Time 3:33 (3:33)
    16. Veni Vidi Vici 4:02 (4:39) [E]***
    17. Inside Out 4:14 (4:11)
    18. Best Night 3:32 (3:22)
    19. Hold Tight 3:23 (3:21)****

    * I think if this song is being reworked it would have to be much longer than demo #3 because that version is very compressed

** I wouldn't be surprised if the song has been "sexed up" a little.

    *** Featuring Nas

****Hold Tight (Demo #4) is 3:23 long.

  2. Great!!!

As long as Heartbreak FUCKING City is not on ANY of those..... :stir:

    It's a song that's not so pretty..

    And it's a song that's really shitty....

Sorry Madomination, but your taste in music is clearly absurd. Why don't you go hole up with yr copy of "hard candy" and leave the good tunes to the rest of us? Just my 2 cents.

BTW, I was joking. Kinda. But those are the 4 best demos. Idk what you expect her to do. An album of "Hey You" s or Avicii production? Kak.

Sorry Madomination, but your taste in music is clearly terrible if you want her to leave the four best demos off. Maybe you could try Mariah Carey or (gasp) Gaga? They can provide plenty of personality free, generic crap for you to enjoy.

    I. FUCKING. LOVE. YOU!!!

  3. Unless they were reworked a lot, I hope she leaves off Hold Tight, Inside Out, Best Night and HEARTBREAK FUCKING CITY. God, I hate that song! :abuse:

I don't think I wanna see your tracklist.

    giphy.gif

The version of Heartbreak City you heard was demo #1. The final product won't be acoustic from what we know.

Yeah, we've got it, you don't want many of the "preachy" songs to make the album, fine, but could you please stop repeating that every time someone posts a different opinion?

Some people here just thoroughly enjoy that side of Madonna and would be happy if these songs were chosen for the tracklist, me included. In fact, I'd absolutely love it if she picked all or almost all acoustic demos for the album.

Not as long as there are people who think that Back That Up, Revolution & Freedom are better than S.E.X., Hold Tight and Heartbreak City. :sassy:

But these are demo's from pre-august last year, she's carried on making songs from my understanding? Remember Ghost town??

The fact that you use the word NEW worries me, implying the album will be made of songs that are no longer fresh and new to us because people have exhausted the demos.

Nahhh she probaly just reworked most of them with other producers. I don't think Madge would drop 25 songs she's worked so hard on and start again from scratch.

I'm glad to see my idea catching on though and so far it looks like our choices are very close to each other. Where is Living for Love though? That one is not going to be left out lol.

    1 CD - 2 concepts.

  5. Im not massively feeling the preachy songs Freedom, Revolution - but i do really like Borrowed Time. There is definitely something in that track worth pursuing!

I agree! Out of the preachy tracks Borrowed Time would be my #1 pick.

Actually, I think she could do a side project and release an EP titled "Art for Freedom" or "Grafitti Heart" and put all the preachy songs + Between the Bars on there. Of course that would never happen but that would be better than just leaving them as outtakes imo.

  6. I want her to include all the preachy songs, that's some of the best songs among the demos... love them all including Freedom :inlove: Hope she leaves out Holy water and Back that up... S.E.X is ok, but that Sex, what do you know about sex, should go :rotfl:

Well...I suppose you won't enjoy the album then because that's not going to happen. byegurl.gif

Where Life Begins is just as much about sex. (That is 100%)

It's the only one from Erotica that ACTUALLY talks about sex. Candy Shop was the first sexual song since the Erotica album if you think about it...

  7. TUTR of karaoke nights were some middle-aged housewife tries to sing over a cheap instrumental remake of a Black Eyed Peas song.

GGW could've been a much bigger hit had it been released instead of Give Me a New Flop. It's catchy and addictive. The video is one of Madonna's most iconic in recent years and the live performance slays. I think the song is more about letting go of inhibitions and fully devoting yourself to the beat of the music and dance. Fuck how old you are, you can still be a Girl Gone Wild and you don't have to be regretful about it.

TUTR has dire production, an even more repetitive and dumb chorus than GGW and her vocals are just really awkward in this. She changed the melody of the Sunday Girl version for the worse. It just sounds dull and bland.

  8. Oh yes, I absolutely agree! Madonna should scrap all of the songs recorded and do an acoustic album filled with songs about changing the world. Full-force Mendela-donna! The deluxe edition will include a MJ tribute medley featuring (Heal the World / Earth Song / Girl in the Mirror)

She looks absolutely ridiculous when she does songs like Freedom. It's embarassing. The album is called "Rebel Heart". It's rather retrospective and self-reflective from what we've heard so far. One side is to show her rebellious side and one is supposed to show her romantic side. She can't show her rebellious side by leaving out the sexual stuff which is clearly part of her artistry and putting crap like Freedom and Revolution on there. It's a part of her, it's what she is known for. She can't and won't completely disregard it.

The album is not going to include that much Folkdonna either. We already have Joan of Arc, Rebel Heart, and Devil Pray in. There is probably going to be only one more folk song. The other slots will be filled by Inside Out, Heartbreak City, Messiah, Ghosttown and Living for Love. That's the "heart" side.

Wash All Over Me, Beautiful Scars, Body Shop, Borrowed Time, Freedom and Revolution will go against each other for filling the last two empty spots.

The 9 other tracks will be Rebel-donna and more danceable/urban with songs like BIM, UB, Iconic, Illuminati, S.E.X., Veni Vidi Vici

  9. Of the "preachy" songs, I think she's mostly likely to include Revolution since she's tagged that a couple of times in her instagram. I like that better than either Freedom or Borrowed Time.

That was most likely before writing/recording for this album started. She tagged the term revolution rather than the song itself, I think. Those tags were more related to the artforfreedom project.

  10. Same here. I love Freedom. And it IS NOT crangeworthy. Has everyone here listened to the message? :) It is exactly what the world needs to hear! If you put aside your presumptions of the music and just try to understand what Madonna is saying, it's brilliant! I hope and pray that one day everyone on Earth will hear this message because we all need to change and realize that we are all a part of each other. What's the point of being Madonna's fan if all you got from her was Erotica and SEX? She has a lot more to say now! Let it in! :inlove:

4 Minutes, Hey You, Get Stupid were enough though. I think out of all the preachy songs we've heard so far Borrowed Time and Freedom are the ones that are most likely to be included. She's definitely not going to include BOTH. It's either one or the other.

    1. Illuminati
    2. Bitch, I'm Madonna
    3. Best Night
    4. S.E.X.
    5. Holy Water
    6. Attracted to the Dark
    7. Unapologetic Bitch
    8. Iconic
    9. Veni Vidi Vici
    10. Rebel Heart
    11. Joan of Arc
    12. Body Shop or Borrowed Time or Hold Tight after DP.
    13. Devil Pray
    14. Ghosttown
    15. Inside Out
    16. Messiah
    17. Heartbreak City
    18. Wash All Over Me
    19. Living for Love

I think those are the ones that are most certainly in. I'm not too sure about Best Night but Holy Water was reworked by Blood Diamond and Dahi along with S.E.X. and it was also cross-referenced in the first demo of BIM (a sign that she really seems to like it). So, I'm guessing that it's definitely in. After all she likes to sing about her pussy (Candy Shop, Where Life Begins, Secret Garden...)

I think other than that the songs that are the top candidates for inclusion are:

    Inside Out

    Hold Tight

    Body Shop

    Wash All Over Me

    Borrowed Time

    Freedom

    Beautiful Scars

The One That Got Away/Addicted (Hopefully retitled as "Attracted to the Dark")

Autotune Baby (It's pretty good, apparently)

  11. :abuse:

It's awesome! It's one of the songs I keep singing throughout the day. It's classic Madonna in that it just makes you want to dance - it goes right back to her dance club roots!

There is nothing classic or classy about it. Her vocals are atrocious and so are the lyrics. The melody is non existent and the production is dated and cheap. Case closed.
