Some of M's past scores by Entertainment Weekly
Madonna A
Like a Virgin A
True Blue B
Who's That Girl D
Like A Prayer A
I'm Breathless A
TIC A
Erotica C+
Bedtime Stories B+
Something To Remember A
Ray of Light A-
Music A
American Life B-
Confessions B+
Hard Candy B+
Celebration A
MDNA B-
Rebel Heart B
For the most part they've been pretty fair. However, that Erotica is so low just shows that Madonna is judged more on public perception of her at the time than her actual output.
These scores are basically a parameter of her popularity over the past 30 years. Each score accurately reflects how the public was feeling that the time.

Next week, I guess. I saw this week's issue with Empire on the cover also at the grocery store and it didn't have a RH review in the music section.
Thanks for the heads up!
I'm hoping for a B+ or higher

Girl bye I like you but you haven't been ANYTHING since DH.

When does the EW review come out?

Imagine Esther fingering her pussy like that
I'm forever grateful the the Queen of Sleaze is BACK.

Omg, how are they grilling her with all of these crazy political subjects? this is not fair? can you imagine them doing this to rihanna or mariah carey?
Only because neither have a braincell to spare between them.
Madonna transcends pop, she IS social culture.

If I recall rightly he was asked about M/Gaga and said that Gaga was crap in comparison. Something that she was all image and no substance and Madonna actually took it to the edge musically
edit: I found it
"I don't give a f**king monkey's about Lady GaGa. It's all about the meat suit and the controversy.
"Is it about music? Really? She's got the publicity side sorted, but where's the f**king music?"
Gallagher added: "Her first album gets played a lot round my house by my daughter. 'Paparazzi'? It's Madonna lite. Madonna was hardcore. She took it to the edge musically as well as everything else. Twenty years from now, will we be listening to Lady GaGa? No.
"She might think she's making a stand for freaks and the weirdos but they're not going to have any decent f**king music to play, are they?"

It's natural to want her to do well commercially but every artist has a peak.
The singles chart has always reflected a certain demographic and it's not, generally speaking, a demographic that is going to wholeheartedly embrace Madonna in the same way they will Taylor or Rihanna. She doesn't (and nor should she) relate to them or vice versa.
But it's okay, she's had her days of single chart glory (and who is to say there wont be more on the horizon?) but as it stands she's in very respectable legends territory in terms of albums and tours.
She's probably going to get her 9TH #album and she will have the number 1 tour of the year that I'm sure will again go down in the history books. She's in a very good place and we should all just celebrate that she's still going, in incredible physical and mental shape and still wants to do this!
It is frustrating to see a great song like Living For Love not get the attention it deserves but it doesn't matter, she's Madonna and she always will be.

I hope she does
Having said that, if she plans to do it and then cancels again I literally cannot imagine the backlash. If she has absolutely ANY doubts about her energy levels or whether it would work for her then just don't even suggest it as a possibility.
Another cancellation would be really disastrous I think.

I feel she's really in the creative zone this time around. She seemed rushed off her feet with other priorities during MDNA and the videos were still great.
I'm so ready for the Ghosttown video, I feel like she's really passionate about the music, message and the imagery this era!
I do feel it will have an apocalyptic theme but in typical M style it will not be what we expect I'm sure.

- Her favourite clothing era was Blond Ambition
- Madonna and her brother Christopher Ciccone are friend now and she’s forgiven him for the book (Life with my sister Madonna)
And there’s more…
- She sang an impromptu duet of the song Getting To Know You with her show host, Jonathan Ross
- She loves that she paved the way for women like Miley Cyrus to be sexual in their shows
- Contrary to recent rumours she does not regret the Sex book
- Her daughter Lola messaged her to say she disapproved of her flashing her ass at theGrammys
- She has to get Lola‘s permission before she posts photos of her (Lola) on the Internet
- She really wanted to record her Rebel Heart album with British duo Disclosure but as they were busy during the Summer with festivals their schedules didn’t match. She hopes to work with them in the future
- Her favourite clothing era was Blond Ambition

Grace Dent is a vile trollop.

Also can't believe that Michelle Budd is still going strong!

I honestly feel that if Madonna herself knew this kind of bullshit was going on she'd tell Guy to get it the fuck sorted out.
She would despise the idea of the press getting one over the fans.

Guys I'm so sorry this happened!

I agree it's not an A.
But it's better than MDNA
