I love Madonna, but she needs to pull her shit together. She lost a huge chunk of her fan base with crappy Hard Candy and MDNA.
We are all rooting for a proper comeback, fitting for a Queen. I have no doubt that the new album will give us what he have been craving since Confessions.
In the past 7 years her brilliance surfaced with MDNA Tour, Art For Freedom & The Super Bowl. That's it. The rest was BADDDD
look, some of these fans live in alternate universe where MDNA was a hot album and if it weren't for piracy, she would have sold 12 million WW.

Madonna stopped being artistic after American Life. She has become a submissive sell out worried about popularity and not rocking the boat. She's obsessed with making easy money and not on art anymore. Leaving Warner Bros. is the biggest mistake of her career. She has become a corporate prostitute shill for Live Nation and Guy Oseary. Will the old Madonna ever come back?

you sound like a little monster. get a grip. we all love Madonna, no one here is less of a fan than another. you cant judge or assume anything. I hear the craziest opinions on here about Madonna and her music but I just laugh at it...someone said they don't like Like A Prayer...its like WTF? but they are still rooting for Madonna and engaged in discussing her legacy. not a big deal. we are all fans, we are all one.

I have, but I don't think that a lot of Madonna concert goers have. I mean, have you seen the facebook poll for the MDNA tour and the songs they chose? Also, a video alone doesn't change the fact that it didn't chart well and that it wasn't popular among the GP. If we go by videos, then Bad Girl, Oh Father, I Want You and Nothing Really Matters should all be considered hits. Sadly, most casual fans don't even know they exist.
they should make Bad Girl, Oh Father mandatory viewing in high schools across the nation..."before we say pledge of allegiance, you must watch this."

i think Madonna should take a break and disappear for no more than 3 years after her deal with Live Nation is over...like completely take a break from movies, directing, music, red carpet-all of it...relax,read chill and write poetry....and then no more than 3-4 years later, while no one is watching...BAM!
go back in the studio with pat and joe for a folksy ballad collection, followed by a 'intimate' world tour...

I really like her version...her vocals are silky smooth. #29 on airplay alone? def would have been a #1 one if physical single was released. I remember recording it off the radio...the good ol days, when music was so close but still so far away...

I never gave it much thought...madonna was always the queen of pop in my eyes....its sad that when it comes to Michael Jackson, not only did he demand being referred to as...but the world didnt ask any questions or challenge the title, even years after no hits. Madonna gets forgotten about and pushed aside everytime a female artist strikes it big ...annoying! but I think Madonna knows shes the queen. end of.

Usually when i go to a Madonna concert i buy a very expensive VIP ticket and i arrive very late just to avoid her annoying fans who can't help bitch and give their two cents on everything she does and when you look at them you can't help but think to yourself that they should invest as much time in their own lives, be more critical of themselves because they always look like they need a complete makeover, physically AND mentally. They scare me. After DWT i swore to myself to never EVER have to deal with these people who ruin my concert experience with their constant blabbing and know-it-all attitude. They scare me because they always look so plain and on the verge of cutting each other's throat if one of them has something : an info, a picture, a magazine, a piece of M's poop that the others don't have. They act blasé but you can see the hatred in their eyes and how the ones who have the exclusive stuff act as if they were some gods. Usually when i wait for the lights to go down and somebody next to me asks me if i'm a fan i say that i am a casual admirer because i don't want to be associated with these creeps. The same kind that create threads like this one. I avoid them like carbs, polyester and herpes. Bisous les amis

those fans are excited. you arriving with your 'very expensive VIP' ticket to look down on them and judge them is kind of sad. with all due respect, i think the hatred is in your eyes.

the only thing I want from the Like A Prayer, Ray of Light, Confessions era's is the sophistication, great lyrics and precision sound at the right time/place. I don't want another trancy trip hoppy dance album paired with dreamy ballads...nor do I want another homage to disco...I LOVE when she surprises me. I just haven't been that surprised in a while.

I enjoy it when Madonna sings about empowering yourself and how her journey and lessons learned could be applied to your life. Focusing on the world problems has already been a focal point of her tours and the art for freedom campaign..
