    Encore Schmoncore .... I just want a proper performance of Holiday with a fabulous reinvented mix!
    (So far, DWT had the best musical version of Holiday, while BAT and GT had the best visual performance)

    I'm not saying we should all hate Tina Fey, neither am I saying we should hate anyone who makes fun of M

    I love Tina Fey, and I've loved all her shows and a few of her movies (Mean Girls, Date Night, Baby Mama, etc). In fact, I even read her book - Bossy Pants - and found it hilarious.

    However, as much as I love her, I do find it odd the way she picks on M. I could totally be over thinking this - but from everything I've observed, she makes it a point to make fun of Madonna in a manner that one could consider mean-spirited.

    A few examples that stand out:-

    30 Rock:

    1. She (as Liz Lemon) tries to convince Jenna (played by the epic Jane Krakowski) to not do botox and age gracefully like Meryl Streep and not go all plastic and get "Gollum Arms like Madonna".

    2. In the Kidnapped By Danger episode - Jenna parodies M's Golden Globes acceptance speech (gloves included).

    SNL:

    1. "Madonna says 'New York has lost it's spark that made it fresh and exciting'. So have you, Madonna!"

    Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt:

    1. Dr. Brandt (as mentioned above)

    2. Carol Kane's character is watching jeopardy and the category is "Awful Madonna songs from 1987" - "Who's That Girl"

    Then again, maybe I'm just being too sensitive

    Tina Fey has often made fun of Madonna (on SNL, 30 Rock, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and sometimes it's borderline mean.

    I don't get why though. I mean, Tina has made it big in comedy - a world that's probably as misogynistic and sexist as the pop music. Surely, she ought to at least acknowledge Madonna and her pioneering ways than make fun of her.

    And shes *clearly laying off 'whatever' she was doing to herself in '08-'11 ish. Many initially thought that she botched her face up permanently. Its now clear something(s) 'may' have been done but wasn't permanent. Or whatever it was, was either corrected lol or done in a very subtle way. She looks hotter and natural in every single way now than 5 years ago! lol

    It's basically a combination of various things. Face-lift for sure, along with minor augmentations here and there, and new evolved fillers.

    However, what I love most about her is that even in her '08-'11 CheekDonna era, she still looked stunning and pulled it off. Unlike so many other celebrities (Cher, Goldie Hawn, the entire Kardashian Clan), Madonna has always kept it classy and stunning. Never once has she given "bad face" in any era. She always gives Fab Face!

    Plus, no other celeb has her intense diet and fitness regime. Plastic Surgery can only help so much - the way M takes care of herself is inspirational, as well as, responsible for why she always looks in top form!
