There is a couple of people who keep on questioning where all the newbies are coming from. I think if they are such die hard devoted Madonna fans "forum gods", they should encourage us, dumb, silly barely fans, and not put us down. Also, being mean to someone is just mean. You can't excuse yourself with "omg I'm joking"...

Voices is the only bad song on Hard Candy.
Superstar is underrated. Y'all need to get over the hate for this track with Lola's vocals.

Lol do you have any sense of humor? I didn't dismiss Madonna's earlier career. This thread is called UNPOPULAR OPINION. So I wanted to add some humor along the lines of what I listen to the most from Madonna.You deserve to get stoned for that - your words about stoning, not mine. Absolutely pathetic for someone to say they are a Madonna fan and think like that. Madonna was a superstar for years before Ray of Light and was an inspiration for so many people. How can you dismiss her early career like that ? To read that she was just a crazy girl with sex videos and Marilyn Monroe hair is just insulting and not even funny. This thread is seriously depressing.
P.s. I love Madonna's earlier career, and I was joking. Although I find that I mostly listen to her recent albums.

Well Hard Candy design just looks really, really cheap. Who made it and got paid for it? Ridiculous. When I first saw it I thought Madonna was purposefully humiliating herself to destroy her ego or something.

Are you a stylist? What fact sheet are you reading? That's not a known fact, nor is it accurate.
Madonna could pull off brunette again if a multi-tonal color job was done, but the average 55 year old woman usually steers clear of darker tones. I do color everyday, and at some point women of a certain age start highlighting.
I'm down for whatever (even if she doesn't change anything) but I don't think she'd invest the time and the health of her hair to go brunette for an album launch. She's always been blonde on tour, so to turn around and go back to blonde after a brief brunette period wouldn't be advisable unless she got a significant haircut as well.
If I were doing her hair for this era, I'd go a little something like this:
No I am not a stylist. My family member is. I hear this a lot, that blond hair makes older women look older. It's almost like a substitute for gray hair. I respect your opinion though so no need to argue about this.

It is a known fact among stylists that darker hair tends to give older women an illusion of a younger appearance. The dark hair effect slim out the contours of the face and brings out the eyes, making a person look brighter and younger. Blond hair does the opposite for older people. It washes out their skin tone, makes eyes look smaller and puts on a few ounces around the face. Also, darker eyebrows vs. ligher eyebrows causes the same effect.

American Life is one of her best. Personally i consider it to be part 3 of a trilogy alongside Ray of Light and Music a.k.a The Madonna Renaissance.

Intervention is a really good song too. So is Nobody Knows Me. I'm So Stupid has a really good message. In fact the entire album is really rich with deep lyrics. One must simply understand the meaning behind the words. Otherwise it sounds cheesy. I personally never thought American Life was lyrically cheesy. It struck me from the very start lyrically, musically and vocally. Her voice is so raw. Love that album.

Btw Tree of Life is so Madonna. I hope she names her last album Tree if Life, when she's like 95
