Martin Solveig uploaded a picture of him and Diplo, maybe his on board as a producer again...JK I don't believe so, that would be terrible.
-
LOL can you imagine the "Bitch section" followed by Dear Jessie?
-
Well, I don't know what to think. Off course the "we are here" campaign has nothing to do with Madonna, on the other hand, Diplo posted a pic today with Alicia and him on a piano, and Madonna said Alicia was killing it on her record so they could be collaborating. I prefer Alicia all the time over Nicky Minaj or MIA.

Talking about general public and not about Madonna fans this is what I think:
-50+ years old: they probably only know 80's Madonna.
-40-50 yo they know 80's Madonna and 90's Madonna.
-30-39 yo they know 80's Madonna, 90's Madonna and 00's Madonna.
-20-29 yo know late 90's and 00's Madonna (let's say from Ray Of Light to 4 minutes)
-People under 20 only know Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and shitty hip hop, and probably they know GMAYL which is not a good thing /:

I hope she keeps some of the Avicii songs on the album , they sound pretty good (according to what Madonnarama says), and I really hope she release at least on of them as a single. It was a shame not to release an Orbit track as a single during MDNA era.
-
To be fair, it's true that Madonnarama was pretty accurate during MDNA era.
-
I honestly hope that nothing leaks and that "Addicted" is not a song title. Having a song called "I'm Addicted" and then a song called "Addicted" on the following album is hideous.
Well, it's not worse than Forbidden Love and Forbidden Love LOL
-
Yeah...every single release is the same history...first we get fake lyrics then hints of what the song sounds like, then we get fake teasers ( btw where are they?) then we get the real 5 sec preview of the song in LQ...then the same part that leaked before but in HQ...and on and on...
fake teasers? don't make us talk about We R Superstars again

Did anybody mention in the other thread the possible song "Disobedient Objects"? she used that hashtag in in Instagram a few times.
-
I wouldn't judge a song by its lyrics alone, see Frozen:
"If I could melt your heart we'd never be apart, give yourself to me, you hold the key"
They sound kind of generic don't they? and she's recycling Open Your Heart but then put them vocals and melody and you have one of the greatest hits of her career.
-
That tracklist seems faker than the cover with Madonna's face in a llama body LOL

My sony ericcson came with Hard Candy pre loaded in 2008, I don't know if that was a good idea actually. Maybe the iphone 6 will have Unapologetic Bitch preloaded JK

Why do some veterans hate the newbies? There was a time when you were a newbie on this forum too.
I agree about the inverted N is probably to match the Art For Freedom art anyway they said that the new album IS part of the Art for Freedom project so... who knows?

We fans and the media know that Madonna is a genius, the general public doesn't, they know her music and they know her controversies but are not aware how involved is she in the process. Unfortunately I believe that the general public will recognize Madonna's work after her death or her retirement but that will happen in a loooong time I hope.

I don't live in US but I wouldn't consider Hung Up a "minor" hit, everybody knew it, it reached only #7 because of some stupid stations that didn't play it but the video was everywhere, the song was the biggest dance hit of the decade, she performed it in the grammys, the single reached #1 in sales, etc.
-
When was the last time she had a second single out before the album?
Papa Don't Preach?
...Girl Gone Wild LOL
Unless you're in UK that had the single like 6 months after the rest of the world.
-
I don't know what happened between Madonna and MTV but it seems that after Michael Jackson's tribute they forgot about her. Maybe she refused to act in a ceremony or something. I don't care about MTV anyway, they're not Music Television anymore.

Which one would be more disastrous for the fans: 1 - cancelling the show 2 - cut one part of the show
If I was there I'd be pissed cause she cut the first segment but there was a reason for that as there was horizontal downpour getting everything wet. People should be glad she didn't cancel that night.
Of course it's better to have at least half of the show but it's still sad not to have the full version, especially the first part that had the amazing GGW and Gang Bang performances.
-
South american shows were great becasue the public was great and she loved it but she did cut a few songs in Brazil because of the rain (I think it as LAV and LS) and she was sick at the time so she looked tired but tried to do her best as always. Only Chile concert was a disaster, she skipped the whole first part of the show and began with Express Yourself, I would have been very disappointed if I was a chilean fan, she also had a little meltdown when a fan was smoking during the soundcheck.

I am against substances that cause hallucinations or make people stupider, but that's just my personal opinion. And I am against paparazzi too, they should be illegal.

I have heard it and the lyrics are so beautiful
Then Im free, free of gas,Im gluten free. Then see our breads are so safe,And then Im free, Im free of gas.Must be part of her Art For Freedom project to support all people suffering from Gluten absorption problems.
-
I heard Madonna is filming the video for the first single in France, the song is Gluten Free.
-
It's a beautiful song, I really like it, but if she had included it in ROL there have been too many ballads IMO. I do like Laura Pausini's version, I ilked her since she began back in 1994 when I was 5 yo.

Confessions the album had a flawless production, a perfect blend of electronica-disco-pop-euro-dance, the lyrics were good, with generic and personal topics that everyone can relate to. The only things I can complain about are: I Love New York (it kills the flow in the album and the lyrics are just a little better than GMAYL) and that Madonna's voice sometimes is kind of buried into the music.
The album also had a big and brilliant marketing plan, with ads everywhere (even Steve Jobs helped to promote it), presentations in TV shows, awards, a mini tour, the big and epic Confessions Tour, her Abba-ish looks, everything was well planned and executed.
Let's hope the new era recaptures some of that magic.
All about the new album. The desperation for news is killing us!

Oh, I love To Have And Not To Hold, lovely and touching lyrics and the production is flawless.
