Sticky & Sweet , too much Urban themed and bad choice of songs, MDNA for the ridiculous amount of violence and too many dancers.
Drowned World Tour has my least favorite look on her, her make-up is barely there and she looks weird without the eye brows

it's still summer though?
That is exactly what I was thinking, all these layers of clothes. isn't New York very hot now??

I hit 40 in april and a fan since Like A virgin so I consider myself a long time survivor fan.
I feell very lucky to have experienced very consciously Madonnas rise to fame around the age of 10-11 and how much of an impression it left on me and I remember it very vividly and how a sensation she was back then and how many gallons of ink were spilled over her image and music and impact and her image change in 86..
It was also an era where a lot of rules and taboos were soon to be broken, a change in commerce, economy television, technology, simple things we take for granted now that were introduced like cash dispensors, and the rise and demise of a lot of great artists and MTV becoming big and doing what it was doing best back then.
I feel sorry for the young ones who were born post 80's and missed out on all that.
And yes, I am not very fond of everything post Guy Ritchie she has done artistically. She kind of got lost in my opinion when she separated from Guy and I feel lightyears away from her where earlier on I could relate to her artistic and personal choices. I guess though I am just spoiled after so much Madonna greatness in the early years

Oh Annie Lennox plays here often lately plus Kate Bush in anticipation of her upcoming London shows.
Whitney Houston always had an incredible voice but it was her arrogant primadonna behaviour and attitude that always made me dislike her.
People I know who saw her live all said that she had the similar attitude onstage. "I am fantastic and you all mean nothing to me"
Too bad her beloved Lord that she referred to continuously was not there to save her and keep her from doing narcotics

I always buy two different pieces of cake that I wash down with a huge mug of tea and after that have a toast on her with a glass of wine and dance to some of my favorite songs of her for half an hour at loud volume. And then continue my day

Funny. She wore similar specs and bow in her hair when she was in London filming Shnaghai Surprise and went one day to a fashion show there together with Chris.

Debbie Harry, or Annie Lennox. Both gifted songwriters, involved in Africa charity and naming their daughters Lola.

Great video and one of my favorite songs by her,but she was reportedly playing the ultimate diva bitch during the shooting of the video, to the extend that it brought the director down to tears.

Looks like the guy and her supposed-new-toy-boy is that Dutch dancer Timo again who was linked with her last year also. He introduced a befriended boxing instructor to the Ciccones who taugt Rocco boxing. Glad she's started to explore my fellow dutchmen now

I was 13 and saw the Who;s That Girl tour here

Thank you for introducing me to the art of Tamara De Lempicka.
Glad we've got the same taste in art

Like A Virgin definately.
Very eye-catching back in the 80;s and sexy and a bit unsual to see a lot of boobs on an album cover of a mainstream artist.
I love that whole photosession she did with Meisel for that album and the following single covers.
Funny how she is always photographed from the left. Obviously her better side.

I hope she does not give us any act or song or choreography to prove that she does not care what the world and people think of her, even though she secretly does. We know it by now.
Foremost the Aussies deserve a few shows so she has my blessing if she skips a lot of North American and European cities and take a month or so for Down Under and Asia. Love travelling to other countries for Madonna shows.
Screw the budget, she can even pay for it herself if shipping and stuff of equipment is too costly.

Absolutely not!
All the violence, too dark and agressive, no matter how benicial to the "story" .A reflection of society though.
A quarter of the audience are usually hardcore fans who might "get" what she tries to say but the average audiencemember does not think further so everyone I knew who went to MDNA where turned off by the first act.

Guy definately.
Goodlooking and very down to earth.
Not into latino men.

Just no-more-Steven-Klein

I saw it 4 times and every time the show and my seat got better.
Finally front row during the 4th show that I attended, managing to attract Madonna her attention and having her pointing and winking at me.
I prefer this show way over S&S, Confessions and MDNA, for the very bare simple overseeable stage set-up, the setlist, the goodlooking dancers and 2 of my favorite tourcostumes in this show.
Pity it never came to an official DVD release but I do have the Lisbon recording plus a very-well-secretly filmed New York show.
But it looks like I am in the minority...

Total disaster. Like everything else she does. One of the worst music acts we've had forced down our throats the last 20 years coming from the USA.

Who's That Girl tour in Rotterdam, Netherlands. I was 13, with my mother.
25 years later she joined me again to the MDNA show.
Hateful tabloid rubbish about Madonna's family. NOT NEEDED IN THIS FORUM.

I am amused how many people seem to dislike Guy. I don't think he is such a bad guy after all, they were together for 8 years and I believe he legally had the right to a portion of her fortune when they divorced so I don't think he really "took" her money, no doubt it was settled in court.
I do believe though she consciously did put some of her kids in the spotlight a couple of times, remember IAGTTYAS, some fashion magazine shoots, having them onstage with her, taking them to movie openings. For years nobody knew how Jon BonJovi or Bono their kids looked like, or Annie Lennox her daughters, among other celebs their kids.
Divorce is never easy for kids and Madonna's are no exception.
Only she and Guy know what happend between them. Sad it happens during these seasons when people prefer peace and quietness over drama in their family.
