I read somewhere it's also the name she used to use to check into hotel rooms when she was married to Sean Penn. It was formed from her middle name and the street they used to live on (Oriole St or Ave)

Focusing on music shouldn't keep her from putting on an amazing classic M theatrical show. She can still do a big show while having a live band and back up singers
She's done the theatrical show a lot, it's pretty much expected now. Why not do something different and focusing mainly on the music, like the way she did Fever and Bad Girl on SNL?
Speaking of SNL, I saw a commercial for SNL 40th anniversary show, to be held on Feb 15th. Not sure if the show will feature any musical performances, but if so it would be another great occasion for an M live performance!!

Rebuilding America’s ghost town
DOWNTOWN Detroit looks like the back lot of a movie studio. Only half the city’s street lights are actually working — but it’s slowly bouncing back from becoming a ghost town.
She should do a video about the rebirth of Detroit and feature some of the organizations she supported last year. It would draw a lot of positive attention to the city, to the groups and also to the song/video.

This sounds like a great idea! I think she needs to focus on the music more than anything else (choreo, etc) in the first few performances. Have a live band, live singing with real backup singers. Just to shut down all the other noise from controversies, and hook the broader audience. These songs have the potential to gain fans just based on the quality of the music, and they should be presented with that in mind.

Her hair is a little different already this era. It's shorter than it has been in awhile. I would like a 1920's flapper look. She and Natalia Kills were dressed 20's style at some party. Does anyone remember those pictures? I think it would be great because that was the time when women started to rebel against sexism and prudish people, and did their own thing! It would fit perfectly with the theme of the album.
That could be really interesting. The concept fits, but I don't see it fitting with the sound of the album... but I'm sure some more creative than I am could find a way to make it all mesh. I think they were dressed in that look at M's birthday party last year.

True. I'm not a fan either because i think her music is extremely boring and i don't like the fact that she lies about songwriting credits but she's definitively talented, more than the majority of the modern pop stars and i can respect that. She's still more deserving of her fame than Rihanna or Britney.
I prefer Rihanna over Beyonce and Britney. Something more real about her. I like her songs more than theirs also. But, I think they all work hard, and deserve respect for that.

I don't think there's any proof that Timor's straight…I actually got pretty strong gay/at least bi vibes from him before. He could EASILY just be a dancer friend/straggler that rolls with her crew and decided to use him as a decoy so she could have some privacy with her real amour. I'd say that Pierre's somewhere in his mid-30s…that's just my gut feeling. I think that's a good age for M to date. I like them together. They're a great couple if this whole things legit.
They do look good, hope it works out for her.

I know Timor was still around. That's why I suspect he was the decoy boyfriend. All the while, she was dating Pierre, everyone including the press thought she was dating Timor. No one paid attention to Pierre even after the Museum of Modern Art pictures cuz everyone thought she was dating Timor. It was a ploy & it worked. When did Madonna ever have a straight guy friend who seemed to be everywhere she was & not be her boyfriend.
Great detective work!!! I think you're right, she seems to have been dating Pierre for while. But still there are so many questions: isn't Timor straight also, why has he been hanging around them on so many occasions? have any pictures of M and Pierre holding hands, being affectionate, etc surfaced? and how old is Pierre - a couple of people mentioned he is more age appropriate, but I can't tell how old he is?

The melody to the very first line of Miles Away seems very familiar. I heard the same melody somewhere before.
In any case, the only version of Miles Away I listen to is the Trendsetter Remix. The album version, music wise, is very weak.

People seem to think the songs on the album will be the hashtagged ones. How many times she hashtagged Wash All Over Me? I need that damn song on this album.
My rebel heart would absolutely break if Wash All Over Me is not on the album. I think it was tagged at least once, so hopefully that means its in!!
