I do like other Diva's like Mariah (new album is really good) and Janet (not been up to standards for the past decade though but i forgive her because her back catalogue before Damita Jo is incredible), but I got bored of Britney (just plain boring), Rihanna (attention seeker), I've taken a liking Kate Bush recently.
Madonna will always be the best female artist ever.

Say what you like, do what you feel
You know exactly who you are
The time is right now
You got to decide
Stand in the back or be the star -
There needs to be more love for her post-2000 bridges!
Strong inside but you don't know it
Good little girls they never show it
When you open up your mouth to speak
Could you be a little weak
-
I hope you find what you're looking for
Is it mine, walk through that door
We're wasting time, make up your mind
And get into the groove -
ChartFlop is inaudible because of the messy production... Shame really, I loved The Fame era.
I listened to MDNA the other day even though I thought I was bored of it (which never happens with a Madonna album), turns out... I still love the album, just needed a break after hammering it for the whole of 2012!

I demand more videos of her sitting in a chair!
Human Nature

I'd go with (keeping in mind it's a dance channel):
Into the Groove,
Open Your Heart
Express Yourself
Vogue
Ray of Light
Music
Hung Up

I love this video, I wasn't alive when it first came out but looking back on Madonna's videography there is something special when I get to this video, the beautiful song fits the video so well, very haunting, and a huge transition from her Boy Toy image.

Wow I've never heard Upside Down Suite before, great house tune! I got Deeper & Deeper music video played on the big screen today at the gym

Miley Cyrus as Madonna/ Susan. Gaga as Roberta.
Haha! Gaga would be begging for the role of Susan to follow suit

It's interesting for us who enjoy looking at pop charts how Holiday was released three times in the UK & I think the single always sold very well there.
I did not realize until recently that Holiday only reached # 16 on the US singles chart. I've heard Holiday so many times on radio, at bars, the supermarket, etc. I always thought Holiday was just as popular & well known as M classics, such as, Vogue, LAP, EY, & LIB.
I'm always surprised how some songs that still get regular play, and are considered classics, didn't actually chart amazingly, I think they must have been slow burner hits that have stood the test of time.

I would love to have been around in this period where she was literally everywhere.
-
Ooo nice, would like to hear it in full

LAP never gets old for me

CD1 because it has everybody, into the groove, erotica, open your heart and like a prayer on it. I love CD2 also, hopefully next time the collection will flow more.

I went with Everybody for best closer (one of my favourite songs ever), worst has to be Love Makes the World Go Round, I like the song but it's not strong, and definitely not strong enough to close a great album like True Blue.
-
I went with Candy Shop, I do like the track, but the rest of the album is much better than that track.
-
A bar on holiday had the whole album on the jukebox so I couldn't resist but put it on
-
You can like them. That does not change how disposable they sound to me.
That's fine by me
-
Now that I'm back from my holiday I've given the track a listen and I really like it!
-
^ I have to disagree, Amazing is my favourite track on the album, and Runaway Lover is also a great track
-
James Montogomery from MTV commented: "[The song is] all pulsing sirens, wobbly bass and four-on-the-floor beat, with an expansive electro chorus that sounds like a truckload of Nintendo Entertainment Systems exploding in unison (only sexier)."
Nice way to sum it up

2. I would keep the original version of Celebration (which is much better and livelier imo)
Glad someone else agrees

lmao it's like she's can't understand them and is just smiling, nodding and saying "yes". love it
