Also last night I listened to Spotlight about 20 times (after midnight) and danced and drank vodka, so had a good Madonna party.

I started off with listening to LAV album, but got distracted by Belinda Carlisle, now I'm listening to Erotica vinyl. Also radio 2 played Holiday before so today is full of Madonna!

Love that she posted that single cover, I'm glad she seems to look back on the Erotica era as a great image, album etc. I think I recall her being anti-erotica during Ray of Light era.

I adore Spotlight, I've literally had it playing all evening, it has a fantastic bridge "Don't be afraid to fall, I'll hear you when you call." Love it!
I used to think it was a weak filler track like Can't Stop, but now I realise it's actually a great song, it's like the last pure 80s dance pop song she released. Wish it was on True Blue. If True Blue ever gets another re-release I hope it includes Spotlight, Who's That Girl, Causing a Commotion, Look of Love and Can't Stop.

My only problem with her performing on X-Factor is if she performs, and then the song doesn't sell, like when No Doubt, Gaga, Mariah Shakira performed over the years, and it had little impact on their sales.
But then again Madonna is a legend, I'm sure she can pull some trick out of the bag, I'm just nervous after what happened with GMAYL.

It's a great song, one of her strongest unreleased songs, but I can see why it wasn't officially released, the repetition of the word sorry just makes me think of the song "Sorry".
Regarding Beautiful Killer, I really like it, but does nobody else think of Die Another Day when they hear it?

The Madonna and Gaga comparisons need to stop, the main reason they are compared is because when Gaga does something, Madonna has already done, that's why they get compared.
Artpop has a few decent tunes on it (Mary Jane Holland, Applause, Do What You Want) but the rest is pretty awful, the album has no consistency (what the fuck is Jewels n Drugs????), even the kitchen sink was thrown into the production of this album.

4 minutes got so much airtime on the major UK radio stations, it was everywhere, I liked the song but it's nowhere near my favourite. The 3 minute edit on Celebration doesn't do the song justice, that intro is what gets me excited when it song starts "I'm out of time all I've got is 4 minutes!"

Love Gambler, it's sad not many people know about it, and it's even more of a shame that it doesn't appear on any of her albums (e.g. Like A Virgin remastered, Celebration etc).

The superbowl was definitely a proud moment, I remember waiting up late at night (I'm from UK) anticipating the performance, I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole performance, thinking "this is live, millions are watching this, she could fuck it up, what if something goes wrong", but she pulled it off so well, it ran so smoothly, she brushed the minor stumble away with ease. Very proud moment.

Love the song and video... although I put the video on at the gym the other day, it looked a bit strange on the big screen, but still awesome.

Wow I didn't realise how skinny she was during the confessions era, it's amazing when you look back and are reminded how she looked almost 10 years ago, but doesn't look how you remember her. If that makes sense?
That guy is such a twat, glad she outwitted him.
