well, this is the only REBEL HEART thread i can find but... WOW! The CD Super Deluxe needs to be the one containing more than 19 songs... CD Super Deluxe needs to be a Double-CD
from madonnaunderground:
If things go as planned there will be three different CD releases for Rebel Heart in Holland
-Standard
-CD Deluxe
-CD Super Deluxe
OMG SUPER DELUXE??!!
-
Nahhh she probaly just reworked most of them with other producers. I don't think Madge would drop 25 songs she's worked so hard on and start again from scratch.
I know, I'm really excited to hear the reworked songs, I love a lot of them so definitely want them on the album, I just meant there could still potentially be new songs that we know nothing about, there's still demos that haven't leaked that we've never heard too.
-
I don't think there will be new tracks, too many demos to have new tracks
But these are demo's from pre-august last year, she's carried on making songs from my understanding? Remember Ghost town??
The fact that you use the word NEW worries me, implying the album will be made of songs that are no longer fresh and new to us because people have exhausted the demos.

Oh I have always loved Madonna's version of this song, especially her vocals during the chorus. Classic 80s gem and deserved a spot on one of her albums.
Madonna sings backing vocals on Kamen's version though (barely noticeable).
ooo going to see if I can hear her!
-
What's this about a Rain and La Isla Bonita video??
-
The dislike for S.E.X. is breaking my heart.
She will definitely include it, though.
And I truly can't and won't understand why people like Back That Up. It's her most atrocious song since idk... Hey You? Yes, I think Superstar and B-day Song are superior to that mess of a song. It's like Don't Stop but with even crappier cheap-sounding production.
I love SEX but not sure I'd want it on the album unless it was completely redone in the style of Erotica, because at the moment it sounds really cheap, as fun as it is.
P.S. I've said this several times but I will literally scream and cry if WAOM doesn't make the album.

Sooooo, I've been a fan of Madonna for a while now but I've never bothered to check out her unreleased leaked demos and b-sides (except Supernatural because that is an absolute tune, deserves a thread of it's own).
But due to recent events I couldn't help wonder if Madonna had some amazing tunes that never made it onto her amazing back catalogue of albums.
There's not much from the 80s that's available, but when I stumbled upon Each Time You Break My Heart, I instantly recognised the song from an 80s compilation I bought last year.
After some research it turns out this song was supposedly for Madonna's True Blue album, but was scrapped and given to Nick Karem.
My first thoughts were... "This song really suits Madonna, it sounds better with her vocals, and the production completely matches that of LAV, True Blue and WTG era, why couldn't True Blue be 10 tracks long?? Why was it scrapped??? It's a sin!!! I love it and I want a cleaner version of it rather than the muddy tape rip version on youtube!
What are everyone's thoughts on this lost gem?
Lyrics:
Each time you break my heart
Each time you break my heart
I know how it feels to be the talk of the town
I'm not gonna let you go and run around
I need to know that you'll be true to me
'Cause that's the way it's got to beWhy can't you give your promise to me
Is love so blind that you cannot see
I'm trying hard not to walk out the door
Know that I, oh, know that I can't take no moreChorus:
Each time you break my heart
I try to put my pride aside
Each time you break my heart
A little voice inside me criesNo matter what you do or say
I'm gonna love you, I'm gonna love you anyway
And if you're so sure that I'm not your kind
How come you can't just walk awayIn the beginning we were nothing but glad
Those were the best days that we ever had
There's no compassion, all your warmth is gone
Tell me how, oh, how can I keep holding on(chorus)
Intermediate:
I see the look in your eyes
I know you're hurting inside
Let me try
To make you love me again
I'll say that I knew you when
You were mine
You were mineEach time, oh, yeah
In the beginning we were nothing but glad
Those were the best days that we ever had
There's no compassion, all your warmth is gone
Tell me how, oh, how can I keep holding on(intermediate)
(chorus)
Each time you break my heart again
Well I can say I knew you when [each time]
You were mineBreak my heart
Don't break my heart
(repeat and fade) -
I have most of M's calendars since 88
I have all from 2006, most still unopened as I was too lazy to put a nail in the wall to hang it on. Got the new one up though

Let's not forget the song hasn't been released in the UK yet and it's available for pre-order, released 22nd feb.
-
Me too. That was a pretty intro but the song improved dramatically from its demo stage to the final version otherwise. Not that it wasn't amazing to begin with, but what they did to complete it just sends it over the top.
Definitely, I'm amazed at how much better it sounds, there's so much going on something new pops out every time I hear it, love the breaths in the breakdown
-
I know she had different images from HC and MDNA, and when I think of MDNA I think of the black and white stripes etc, but it wasn't like a reinvention.
In the 00s I'd always hear people and tv shows saying she was the queen of reinvention, and curious what her next image would be, because it was always so different to the last. There hasn't been a drastic change since confessions, no different hair colour, no major on going theme with the era etc.
-
I'm more intrigued to see how many new songs we'll get that we know nothing about, like Ghost Town.
-
but you used to be able to get it everywhere. Whsmiths, sainsburys, HMV, the works etc now it's only online. I guess sign of the times
Exactly, used to be able to get it everywhere. They even had Kylies calendar. Maybe with a new album on the way 2016s calendar will be more available
-
I got mine on Amazon in the end, there were literally 2 left.
Can't believe it's been so difficult to get hold off!
-
I can imagine VVV being an interlude on the tour.
-
A random thread I know, but I just wanted to know if anybody had the same trouble I had getting hold of a 2015 Madonna calendar?
Normally, each year, I've always been able to pick one up when I've been Christmas shopping in HMV or Clintons, but last month I couldn't find it anywhere! Not even in those pop up calendar stores that sell nothing but calendars! And they have a huge variety!!
I ended up having to get one of the last few copies left from Amazon but normally I've always been able to get one from one of the above stores, did they not stock it? Did they sell out?? At least I got one in the end!
Did anybody else have the same trouble?
-
I guess people can nitpick at anything when it comes to the mix/mastering, it's common on every artists fan forum, and usually it's only when it's pointed out to me that I recognise the 'problem', I must be a really bad producer!! lol, i.e. I didn't realise how bad Prince's 80s albums sound on CD, just thought that's how it was meant to sound back then.
One thing that crossed my mind is that the first verse of BIM is really quiet, then when the build up to the chorus comes on it's really loud, but I guess this is an old fashioned thing called 'dynamics', something that has disappeared during the loud war.
-
Any noises left in the song wouldn't be anything to do with the mastering, if anything it would mean that the cutting / mixing of the song hasn't been finished, and if she had to rush release the songs it's understandable. I personally haven't heard any errors, I just think the vocals in LFL sound quite LQ.
-
I've not listened to the second batch of demos, just SEX (love it) and beautiful scars, oh and two steps behind out of curiosity.
I was satisfied with the first batch so hopefully I can wait until it's released.
-
I like how it includes most of her singles from 2000s + doubt it's legit though!
-
1. Girl Gone Wild
2. Love Spent
3. I'm Addicted
4. Gang Bang
5. Some Girls
-
^ Have you heard the finished version of Iconic?
-
Why do I have a feeling that Wash All Over Me won't be on the album?? As much as I need it to be.
-
I know this is from 2012 but I couldn't help notice at 7:20 Madonna addresses her music being leaked. Thought it would be interesting to share!

No I think it still counts, isn't that why the music industry started repackaging albums with a second disc of new songs? To get more sales for the original album? e.g. L**y G**a Fame Monster, Ke$ha Cannibal?
