I'd say it's considered cheesy because the songs, outfits and performances are usually camp or laughable. I think this is the reason it's got this reputation.

This would be great promo, it’s watched worldwide. As someone else said, this helped Justin, and his song wasn’t even good.

She had leaked music/singles since Music in every era, back in the day there where Anne String or whatever insiders even leaking photos or demos, but nothing now? So:
-The Israeli hackers was behind everything in every era so now that he’s trapped there’s nothing?
-She found out the person on her inner circle that was leaking stuff and fired that one?
-She finally has an inteligent team that works offline with extra security?
What happened?
Everything is offline this time, no internet / WiFi, hard drives have to be given to people by hand.
having this thread open allows us to discuss the making of the album and have fun speculating, no harm in that.

It wasn’t on the track board she accidentally leaked last year, but some fans seem to think it’s been renamed to Dark Ballet.

Well for a period last year fans thought she’d actually been secretly working on the album longer than she actually had, and that it was ready to drop after the Met Gala performance.
There were several quotes of the album coming Q4 2018 but with her seemingly having a break from studio in the summer (again, fans assumed it was finished because she posted Miwais sessions wrapped on Insta) and then going back to the studio later last year, it was becoming more clear the album wasn’t coming 2018.
I think she’s working on it until she’s 100% happy with it, which is a good thing because it means we’ll get the best. But it is apparently finished and being mixed / mastered, which is exciting.

No thanks, this was done as a way to try and get around the leaks, but the problem was the first 6 songs were mastered completely different from the rest of the album and it shows. I don’t want any flaws in mixing / mastering with this album!

Honestly, why I’ve bothered trying to discover other artists back catalogues recently I don’t know why, when let’s be honest, they’re all being put on hold for a new Madonna era and I’m going to be rinsing her back catalogue yet again.

Agreed January should no longer be a bad month to put out new music with streaming now being the lead platform, in fact, she’d be getting in there a head of anyone else if she were to drop a new single.
i don’t know about anyone else but I get so bored in January waiting for the year to get started and new music to come out, the thirst is real.

Okay, so... Some info I got from someone apparently in the know. It's not world shocking information, but interesting nonetheless and time will tell how trustworthy this info really is, but I decided to share it regardless. If only for us all to have something to discuss during the holidays:
- Do not expect anything in 2018.
- Official info will begin to be shared little by little in the first weeks of January.
- At the moment the definitive track listing is not done yet.
- She really put her heart and soul into this album. No fillers here.
- "Killers" is indeed a killer track.
- She didn't play it safe. She took risks musically and he really means RISKS. Some of the tracks people will be like "WOW, what is that?!" At first listen. Of course a couple of tracks are less innovative, more commercial. But even those are top notch.
- Some tracks you can't compare to any other music out there really, at least not that he knows of.
- The only thing is that it's not a very cohesive album as a whole. But the tracks are so out of this world that you couldn't care less about cohesiveness. but according to him, the album is not messy (as he thinks "Rebel Heart" was).
- It's no secret that there will be Latino influences on the album so to a certain extent people who love tracks like "Spanish Lesson" will be happy. But of course the Latino tracks do not sound like "Spanish Lesson". They are way better. The influences on this album are incredible.
- In his opinion, this is her best album since COADF.

There’s something suspicious about all these petitions to get Madonna to cancel her Eurovision performance, where have these “fans” crawled out from? It’s almost like it’s the haters dressed up as fans trying to get her to cancel so she doesn’t succeed with the new album.
